in 07/08 season we were 2nd bottom in the championship and when jordan appointed warnock, we finished 5th at the end of the season and just missed promotion, he is the best manager outside the premier league hands down!
Neil crossed the line at times and he’s one of those people, like Robbie Savage, Joey Barton etc who you dislike unless they’re on your team but you can’t deny he’s an excellent manager and the type of character that we don’t have many of in the game these days, who makes you laugh and angry in equal measures. Well done Neil! 👍🏼
As a Scotsman I always hoped that we'd one day see Neil as manager of Heart of Midlothian, he'd be a great success up here. He's always kept an eye on the teams north of the border, it looked like he was going to sign the excellent John Soutar just recently too, however, speaking as a Jambo, I'm glad Neil didn't get him :) . You're a top manager and a top bloke, Neil Warnock and there's definitely at least 'one more gig' to go before you hang up that tracksuit :) .

Met him a couple of times in 1986/87 when he became the first manager to bring a club through automatic promotion from the conference. I recall then as a teenager he was a great motivational manager who fans could relate to in terms of enthusiasm and passion for the game. Congratulations Neil on a great career, a legend of the game, if you don’t manage another club hope you and Sharon have a full retirement.
An objective look at the Shefield situation reveals that the owners demand of him was very reasonable. Stop trashing and devaluing your own players. Wilder wasn't run out at all. He capitulated. I can't stand him either. Cheers

Jordan isn’t quite right about the owners and Wilder at Sheffield United. The owners are a big problem at Sheffield United; Wilder worked miracles with the low wage budget at the club and he turned around what was a sinking ship after Adkins. The owners didn’t back him with a wage restructure for the second season in the EPL which cost us signings like Matty Cash, Callum Wilson, Antonee Robinson etc. - they then questioned his ability, wanted a striker rather than the defensive midfielder he asked for (which we still desperately need) and called him out publicly which was unwarranted. He wasn’t perfect or always in the right because at times the owners did also really back him (Berge was a really big move from the club at the time), but he wasn’t wrong to be disappointed with the owners.
Top bloke Neil , never mind football manager, I look back to his manager of the month trophy, which he gave to raise money for local hospice on Teeside. And we are in a far better place than when he took over, job well done Neil. UTB.
As neutral football fan, I hope Warnock gets another job. He's good for football.
