Jordan isn’t quite right about the owners and Wilder at Sheffield United. The owners are a big problem at Sheffield United; Wilder worked miracles with the low wage budget at the club and he turned around what was a sinking ship after Adkins. The owners didn’t back him with a wage restructure for the second season in the EPL which cost us signings like Matty Cash, Callum Wilson, Antonee Robinson etc. - they then questioned his ability, wanted a striker rather than the defensive midfielder he asked for (which we still desperately need) and called him out publicly which was unwarranted. He wasn’t perfect or always in the right because at times the owners did also really back him (Berge was a really big move from the club at the time), but he wasn’t wrong to be disappointed with the owners.

Top bloke Neil , never mind football manager, I look back to his manager of the month trophy, which he gave to raise money for local hospice on Teeside. And we are in a far better place than when he took over, job well done Neil. UTB.
