I've only been watching for about 2 months and I thought so many times "man Becky would make such a great mom" but I figured it wasn't in your journey. I can't tell you how much joy this baby brings to me as a complete internet stranger! So happy for your family ❤️.
Becky, first off, congratulations to you and Josh on your pregnancy. I've only been watching you for a short amount of time, but I can already tell you're going to be great parents. Secondly, don't let anyone tell you that morning sickness is only for a certain amount of time or even in the morning. My first pregnancy I was sick at various times in the day for almost the entire nine months and my doctor told me that was perfectly normal for loads of women. ❤️❤️❤️

Omg morning sickness is a lie! I had all day sickness. My pregnancy with my Son and Twins were the worst All day sickness. Lol I hope it calms down for you soon tho.

My husband and I finally got pregnant after a 10 yr. struggle. Then when our 1st. was 14 months I found out I was pregnant again! So considering we never thought we would get pregnant, our first was such a blessing and our second was a blessing wrapped up in a surprise.
Now my first is married and still in school getting his doctorate and they are hoping for a little one soon. My second son just graduated college. We also have 2 girls who we adopted when they were 12 years old. And those 2 girls have blessed us with 3 grand babies that we are just totally in love with.
Enjoy every day with him/ her no matter how old they get. Time will fly by so
document all those special moments.

I can’t tell you how excited I was to see that thumbnail! I knew I had to watch immediately! Before you announce the gender you should post a survey for us all to weigh in with our guess.
I can’t imagine how you’re handling all the excitement of a baby & dream house and stress of pregnancy and remodeling all at the same time…not to mention still posting so much for us and tending your garden & cooking & preserving! You will be a great mama with all this multitasking already under your belt.

Why am I so teary listening to your wonderful news, such happiness for you and Josh. At my old age, I seem to be living vicariously through you! Tiredness is totally normal. I watched you loading the trailer with wood, a ladder, a bike and I so wanted to leave a comment along the lines yes, I know pregnancy is not an illness, but I was gritting my teeth watching you lift and bend and just wanted to shout "take it easy young lady"! I had morning sickness for my entire pregnancy. They called it hyperemesis gravidarum. I had to get IV's all the time because I would dehydrate. They also put me on Zofran and it helped a lot. It was so crazy but the moment I delivered her I stopped throwing up. I'm glad you have Josh is so supportive. Hang in there 19 weeks to go.
I had that with my daughter. For me it was 5 months. Thrn I cought the flu right after that.😩 I actually lost most of.y weight when I had my daughter. I love my kids, but I wish I'd had better pregnancies.
So exciting! I'm due midway through November with our first baby so it's fun to see these updates.

Aww...This just popped up in my feed. Time has flown by. I remember my ultrasound excitement when I saw my babies for the first time. Oh my, they're adults now and I have grand ones. Just wanted to let you know that this made me smile today.

I love these baby update videos! Our sweet girl is 7 months old now! We had our first ultrasound around 9 weeks too. It’s such a great experience! 💛

When it comes to due dates 100% go with your gut! My doctors were convinced mine was Oct 3rd and I kept trying to tell them that wasn't possible and he was born sep 12th the day that I had calculated from the beginning. Love watching you and Josh experience this it's so sweet!
Same exact thing happened to us. We knew exactly when we got preggers, their date is an estimated date. We looked at one another and said the date was off, the due date was closer to ours by a few days. The docs date was off by two weeks. LOL
Babies come when they are darn good and ready and not a moment before.
Opposite happened to me. I was sure I was going to go into labour around the 17th, even though the due date was the 8th. I figured first timers always go late, and my original belief was that I conceived later than they said. But, my water broke at like 1am on the ninth lol

I had nausea in the evening up until about 4 weeks before I had my son.

Becky, I’m so happy for you guys!! I’m sorry you’re still feeling sick - I was sick with both of my kids throughout both pregnancies. I know you feel like you’re not doing as much as you normally do - but growing a human is such an important, amazing job - feeling crappy is expected, although it’s not normalized as it should be. You’ll be fine!!

Hi Becky. Lovely to have the update on the baby. So exciting for you. Sometimes the sickness doesn’t go away - I was sick all the way through. I would throw up at random times of the day/evening but particularly when I was cooking.
I know you said you feel bad you’re not doing as much. You have to remember you’re actually doing a lot. You’re growing a baby!!

I had all day sickness with my first and third,and took a medication for it that has since been taken off the market.With number 2 and 4 not sick at all.Praying for you.

My heart goes out to you with the sickness. I had hyperemesis with my daughter from the beginning until I was on the OR table having a C-section (I barfed all over the anesthesiologist during surgery 😂). My daughter will be 15 this month. You'll never forget, but it eventually becomes awe inspiring, rather than gut wrenching. You've got this! ❤️

Same. From day 1 to delivery day. Anything would set me off. I lost so much weight during that pregnancy. I was lighter on my delivery day than I was on the day they told me I was pregnant. I had to send my husband out to find a smaller frock to leave hospital. Most of the new moms were bummed that their planned going home outfits were too tight. She turns 39 this year.
I also had hyperemsis with both kids, puked all day and night every single day of pregnancy.

This is so exciting! I’m thrilled for you and Josh! During my first pregnancy, it took a while before it really felt real. I had the ultrasounds and heard the heartbeat, but it still seemed a bit surreal. It all became a bit more real once I could feel the baby moving inside of me. Love these videos! I remember the first time I got to see my son. He was so tiny! His little arm was sticking out, and it was so cute. Then, when I went in for the big u/s and got to see his face? Oh wow, it was so magical. I really loved growing my kid. 🙂 Even if I did throw up in the shower every morning before work, and every night at 7 pm, almost on the dot!

Oh my gosh, seeing you go experience the ultrasounds and being so excited makes me remember doing all that with my kids. Pregnancy is so exciting and sooo hard! I was sick so much and it lasted so long, I actually love 25lbs with both pregnancies in the first trimester because I was so sick. And I had such major food aversion to anything poultry and meat. Only meat protein I could eat was Biltong, a dried meat from South Africa. I am so excited for you guys! I see so many comments talking about how you will love every second of parenthood and in part that is true. Being a parent is the hardest thing. When this creature you made stamps their foot and defiantly says NO to the simplest thing, it is so hard to stay calm and patient. But remember they are little people and have their own thoughts and wants as well. Specifically on the anxiety, check with you OB about Post partum Anxiety, can be a hard thing to work through along with PPD. My PPD came in the form of just rage, the slightest thing would make me rage then it would pass just as suddenly and not many people talk about it. Remember, if baby is crying they are alive. If you have to put baby down and walk to the other side of the house, do it. Its so important for both parents. That newborn stage is tough, lack of sleep is so hard. Definitely find a local mom group and a local breastfeeding/formula feeding group, they are so incredibly helpful! One of the best things as a brand new mom was being able to text a friend at a 2am feed and ask if something was normal. Best of luck you two! Love watching this journey!

Ultrasounds were my most favorite!!! It’s just amazing to see the little one in there movin’ and groovin. I had nausea with my daughter till about 23 weeks. My twin boys.... nothing. I had the most awful heartburn with both pregnancies, but all my babies had TONS of hair. Little monkeys 🙈🙈!! So excited to follow along with your journey. My youngest is 7, so I love seeing new moms and dads starting their journeys. Thank you for sharing!!! 💗💙

With my first son, I had all day sickness all throughout the pregnancy. I actually weighed less when I went to deliver than when I got pregnant. It was bad. But...he was born healthy and was the best baby. Each pregnancy is different, and each woman's body processes it differently. Just hang in there. And as you said, give yourself a lot of grace. You're going to need it.
This is so exciting!! I feel so privileged to be able to watch your special journey. I was sick my entire pregnancy but what I learned was take your meds if you need them and rest when you have to and try not to feel guilty. You guys are amazing!!

So so so excited for you both!! Absorb every moment, every kick and take lots of pictures of yourself and your bump, even if you never show them to anyone. I often find myself watching videos of belly kicks and pictures as I progressed through pregnancy to bring back such happy memories. Not that you're obligated to, but it would be really sweet to see your announcement to the family! 😊
So super happy for you! Having a kiddo is definitely a change of pace for life, both before and after birth.
