Takehito Koyasu has voiced Shingo since his debut in KOF '97. Koyasu-san began his career as a seiyuu in the late 1980s, but he didn't rise to true fame until he started voicing Dio in the Jojo anime and video games during the New 10s. Many of his earlier roles might seem a bit obscure today, but he kept up his efforts and received a lucky break. Shingo has become a bit more well-known as people learn more about Koyasu-san's career.
And recently he's famous in Isekai Ojisan anime.

Kinda wish it were a team end with Shingo, Kyo, and Benimaru with more bonus ending with say Shingo, Kyo & Iori etc. but I'll take this than just nothing at least.

Loved the Shingo and Ash interaction! 😂 I mean, after all, it's true Ash indirectly saved Shingo because Iori stopped attacking when Ash stole his powers.
Too bad Shingo didn't get a special ending/intro with Benimaru.
Especially after everything they went through in the NESTS saga.
Maybe he will have more secret endings after the rest of the DLC characters of this season appear.

@@usamasalman2144 Besides being teammates for their mission to find Kyo, they're just friends at best. If you read Shingo's interview for XV, he does talk well about K' and Maxima and even has specific win quotes for both of them since 2001.
honestly, considering that he had a fair amount of involvement in the Tales of Ash Saga (ex. the reason he teamed up with Kyo and Iori in KOF XI was due to Chizuru's personal request where she briefed him a bit about the circumstances regarding Orochi's seal weakening), it would be nice to have Shingo say some special lines to other key characters in that saga, and if my wishful thinking ever happens, I hope he also has something to say to Shion if he ever comes back as a DLC

If anything KoF at this age reminds of the 1st ending of Ruroni Kenshin and it’s final seasons during the 1990s era of anime. Such a touching current ending KoF aged like a fine wine.

People forget that Ash is the same guy who sold out his friend (Shen) and let him face off against an assassin (Oswald) and started a huge fire in Southtown (KOF Another Day) 😒

@@Rocky-brilliant shingo is a naive person. he can't observe the situation further, he just came to the conclusion of "ok he saved me" when ash was just passing by to take Iori down and steal his Treasure.
ash is still a PoS because of his actions. there's no point of discussing him retconning himself from timeline to "save" others from his evil ancestor, cuz he gave other people lot of pain in the past. he's one of the least likeable anti-heroes ever written for a FG

On the other point, I see where you're coming from even when I disagree, but believe me, i'm not against the OP comment because of someone's perception of Ash... I wish that was the case.
This boy right here doesn't hate Ash for being an anti-hero, no, he hates him only because he's a femenine boy (he hates Poison from Final Fight too because she's a trans woman, and he does exactly this with Poison too even when she's not a villain anymore on EVERY video about her), believe me, this is not the first time I find this boy inside a video with Ash on it, no, HE'S ON EVERY VIDEO ABOUT ASH, HATING HIM just because he doesn't like "queer people" (I say it like that because Ash is not even confirmed to be gay, he's just a femboy). This boy is annoying as hell, and he just needs to stop.
You don't have to show that you hate Ash in every video kid. No one ask you about it :)
Face it, Ash is still a protagonist. It's true that not everyone likes him, but you're trying to present yourself as an extremist and toxic person.

SNK making us play $6 for a character that only gets a 20 second story ending? A shame
$6 has become the industry standard for fighting game DLC characters and most in many various fighting games dont really come with much.
Imo a character or in KoF's case, a trio of characters, should come with their own stages as well.
And also classic outfits.
Its really not a big deal to make an outfit for a 3D model. Modderrs do it all the time.
Now if its a traditional hand drawn 2D sprite? Then yeah. But the whole point of moving to 3D models in fighting games was to facilitate the laborious task of creating literally hundreds if not thousands of sprites per character.
So now the only excuse is greed or laziness.
