Howdy High Altitude Albies! Don’t worry about starting her, just remove that rock from the front wheel ..put her in neutral…point down hill! Love y’all’s attitude and joy of travel! Saddle up and ride on!
You guys definitely take us to the roads less traveled! Which I love with such epic views and camp spot!! Ecuador is absolutely incredible!! Always look forward to what's next!
Wowwww,, this is one of your most beautiful videos,, and after seeing this episode im adding ecuador to my bucket list,,, how i admire the two of you for sharing with us your adventures ,, love you both,,, keep going, enjoy and keep safe,,, until your next video❤️❤️❤️
How beautiful! The excitement from you both is a joy to see . The country is so beautiful and we get to come along! Take care and enjoy. Keep those vids coming sending much love x
awesome!!! talking about the mountains and the tallest, hawaii would also be in the conversation as it would have the tallest mountain if more of it was above water! over half of the mountain is underwater lol
ooooh yes they are gorgeous, in chili there are some glowing ones with lava but snow at the summit. we could not film because of the weather but it is fascinating.
I've never visited Cotopaxi but have hiked high up on several other Ecuadorian volcanoes. " Slowly, slowly, very slowly," is exactly right. And coca tea is just the thing. Spotting an Andean Fox/ Paramo Wolf is very rare. So is seeing an Andean Spectacled Bear. You have been doubly lucky. Now you just need to see a Condor for the trifecta
Yes we miss the condor … we need to start seriously looking for it. We saw the North American one in the USA. Coca leaves are amazing for the headache it just disappears. Thanks for watching !
Hi Guys, really nice to watch you both again, the waterfall is very much like the weather we are getting in the UK. Good to see the Landi going well Ive had 2 defenders, as I haven’t got one now its brings back good memory’s 😂 looking forward to next instalment. K.
Hey guys. Have you ever had your car's engines have their glow plugs replaced? They are needed for cold starts in diesel engines. Otherwise, the glow plugs sometimes need to be changed so that they don't crumble into the engine. Too long a replacement interval makes it difficult to remove them at a repair shop. When it's warm, you forget about the glow plugs, but when it's cold, it's hard to start or won't start. Starts right away with new glow plugs. I have been following you since you visited here in Finland. Great videos every time, thanks.
Nice ! Finland was a while back! We thought about the glow plugs but as you say it is a terrible job when it has not been done in a while which is our case. We only really had issues twice in winter in USA and once at high elevation this time. We think we ll keep it like that for now and when we find a good garage and have a good break we ll look at it again. Thanks for the advice and following the journey since Finland
I reached the summit of Kala Pattar near Mt Everest 5645m and developed altitude sickness. I felt like ‘Albo’. Lol. Congratulations on reaching your height. 👍🏻🙏🦘
Guys. Thanks for sharing! Your my favorite RUclips couple💑, love the volcanos. 🏞You two are risk takers and very brave people, Hope you don't get struck alone some where? Thanks for letting me travel alone side of you. Cheers 🍸🍸🧔
Wow so beautiful a countryside to travel in awesome scenery and a spectacular adventure . Thanks again for sharing your wonderful journey with us. Cheers from Steve Stott in Sutherlin Oregon U.S.A. :) :) 🌎🍻👍🏼😁
Awesome video as always Nick and Matilda. That was a awesome adventure congratulations on climbing the highest elevation of the trip. What kinda of cheese did y'all have it looked delicious?
Thanks Christopher ! Oooh that was a basic mozzarella … it is not super easy find good and affordable cheese in those countries. Us frenchies suffering hahahaha
Ecuador is amazing, el Paillon del Diablo is such a cool waterfall. In 2021 I mountain biked around Cotopaxi volcano 26 miles, it was so hard up to 13300ft altitude . I remember seeing that orange refuge building up high on the side of Cotopaxi, I cant believe you got to hike up there.
Another fantastic video. The Landscapes are breathtaking. Who would have ever thought. Your videos are superior, and you are taking us places that most of us didn't even know existed. I've been watching you since the beginning of North America. Love every video 👍🏻👍🏻♥️🙏🏻🙏🏻
Watching you guys share so many exciting excerpts of your incredible journey has become one of the highlights of my week. Thanks for letting us travel the world with you through you videos. You are very special people. I pray for you often. God bless and keep you.
Mabuhay !And Good morning from California !Been looking forward each week for New released & uploaded videos!Contents that always amaze us!God bless you always!
Wow! Ecuador is spectacular and you two are presenting it at its best! Those cliff-side roads made me nervous as did “El Banyo” waterfall. I wonder how many people have been swept away in that humongous volume of water. Hopefully, there was less flow when they were constructing those observation areas. Gorgeous photography once again. Until next Saturday…thanks for the vicarious experience!
Oooh thanks Heather! Yes this waterfall was insane. We heard it is the heaviest it gets at this time of the year so I would imagine they built at a season with less water… it was crazy ! See you next Saturday
Outstanding video and absolutely gorgeous country! I was amazed at how effortlessly you all seemed to be dealing with altitude and see that you are not super-human after all at 5000 m. 😁
I have been there done all of Ecuadors volcanos, one more you should experience volcano Cayambe, true adventure getting their, its an offroad trail that leads to the refuge, and you can walk up to a small lake, it's a beautiful scenic place as longer it's clear and suny❤❤
Mille fois mieux que la chaleur mais tout est une question d équilibre hahaha après 2 mois d hiver aux usa on était trop contents au chaud et après 5 mois d Amérique centrale on est allergique à la chaleur 😅 jamais contents hahaha
We drove a rental Suzuki vitara 5 speed over the Andes several times, we once had 6 people , two bikes, and luggage going back to Cuenca. It was sketchy.
That waterfall was amazine. Hey, keep the beard the way it is. I have had short ones and long ones. I now have a short one and It's better and does not make you look like an old man.
Spectacular scenery. That waterfall!! But I don't think Albo loves volcanoes as much as you do.
Hahahah good point Penny! He has short breath indeed
Howdy High Altitude Albies! Don’t worry about starting her, just remove that rock from the front wheel ..put her in neutral…point down hill! Love y’all’s attitude and joy of travel! Saddle up and ride on!
hahaha yes that was our last resort solution! You remember we had to do that for one week when our starter gave up on us in Canada hahah
Another amazing video beautiful places 😍👏👏👏👏

Such beautiful landscapes…thank you for sharing your journey…I absolutely love it😊
Thank you so much ! Thanks for watching happy you enjoyed
Absolutely awesome 👍❤🇿🇦
Thank you! Cheers!
The volcano is stunning. Almost looks like Mount Fuji in Japan. You're both the best!! 👍🏻👍🏻🙏🏻✌🏻
you are right! Cotopaxi is actually considered a very symmetric volcano that s why it s so iconic, but not as symmetric as the fuji but not far!
The joy you two express in traveling together is partly what makes your videos so special.😘Of course the scenery and the photography is awesome too!
Absolutely, I have to agree...😎
Thank you very much! We feel very lucky to be doing all of this and there is so much to learn and discover that gives a lot of energy!
Good evening from Greece 🇬🇷

That wind was intense!
Really!
Until now whenever I thought of the equator I thought of hot weather. You guys have truly opened my eyes. It’s amazing to see a snow rimmed volcano .
ooooh yes they are gorgeous, in chili there are some glowing ones with lava but snow at the summit. we could not film because of the weather but it is fascinating.

Metres to feet (15,223 ft) - incredible, guys! 🤩
Amazing!
Thank you! Cheers!
you love your volcanoes, I can appreciate that. Like me and my birds. I' could live in Ecuador. or Colombia
That s beautiful haha I like the way to see this.

Its pretty sweet how the herd's of Guanaco's have a "lookout " individual like "mountain goats" here in the U.S. Real high elevation you all are at.

That must have been so fun!
The hike is actually rather short from the parking. The weather condition can make such short hike miserable though ahhaha
As you cranked Albo at altitude, I was thinking, I hope they keep a can of ether with them! Well done!
It was very impressive!
3.25 miles high! Young and strong, Nick & Mathilde, Cody & Olivia! Best of wishes to you all in your amazing adventure!
Thank you Andrew 🫶🫶🫶
Some great high elevation adventures there - great stuff.

Quilotoa looks like Crater Lake in Oregon, but 100x windier, and the water is green instead of deep blue.

Do you ever have any trouble with altitude sickness up that high?
We just suffer some small headaches when sleeping around 4000 meters. The best remedy is the local tea they prepare with coca leaves

question, for the both of you AT 15,000 FEET UP WERE YOU ABLE TO BREATH ? ????
Hahaha yes! But efforts were more intense on the breathing for sure
Albo, like all Defenders, can handle anything.
Whohooo! Super albo!
Ncredible Ecuador! 16,000 feet also incredible. Too bad about the wind, I'm sure it was very tiring. The video, oh my, spectacular.(人 •͈ᴗ•͈)
