Doom is and always will be one of the best fps games! Some solid games on this list i like how its a wide range of games! Also you have some mad editing skills!
Yeah can't argue with Doom back in those days especially. It redefined the whole fps genre back then! I wanted to go with lot of variety cause i just honestly like almost all genres. It was actually hard to pick just 5. I might do another video at some point cause i feel like there's 20 more games that shaped me the gamer i am today. Appreciate that! Thank you!
I remember watching someone play Maniac Mansion on the NES before I could properly read. It really motivated me to learn quicker since I was missing out on the fun.
Games are probably one of the biggest reasons out there kids are actually motivated to learn how to read and write or in my case, learn another language.😄
Good video! My top 5 games are a little different because I started with the NES and an old 486 PC. I'd say Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, Mario 3, Wolfenstein 3D and Commander Keen were my most influential games that got me wanting more.

My first PC game was Ancient Art of War! Played more on the C64, then Amiga 600 at the time, before going full PC, I did have a modded PS1 for awhile when the kids where younger. Now PC only. What REALLY got me into PC gaming was of course Doom running on a mates PC, while I still had the Amiga 600 (wish I never got rid of it!)
Had to look for Ancient Art of War cause i had never heard of that but yeah it looks the kinda game i might have been into back then too! I played some C64 but mostly Amiga 500 cause i had a friend who had that. I had NES and then we got a 486 PC somewhere close to mid '90s and then PS1.
I tried to watch this video three times on my tv but as you know Teddy doesn't like your face. So now I'm watching it on my phone hiding in another room. This better be worth it. We'll come back and comment once I've digested it in 18 minutes
Besides Mario for me, it was def the TMNT games on NES and SNES. Was really into beat em ups, then fighting games. After fighting games for me kind of waned Panzer Dragoon Saga pulled me into RPGs.
Tmnt games were awesome too! Always wanted to try Panzer Dragoon Saga but it's just too damn expensive. Emulators could be a way though. I could probably list 20 games more that made me a gamer but have to see if i do more of these in the future. Oh and thanks for watching Mel!😊

In PostSoviet Ukraine we had bootleg Famiclones, PCs too, then better consoles and hardware etc... Now I have portable R36S which is perfect investment taking in mind that I have infinite coins for arcades HAHA
We had a lot of bootleg stuff here in Finland too back in the '80s and '90s. Friend had a famiclone too and it was great back then.😄 R36S looks pretty cool little device. Had never heard of it before.😃

Duck hunt is such a classic. Way so many good games, my first game was Tomb Raider 2 and I've got a soft spot for those games. Great video as always!
