    Here's two more tips..Take a ziplock sandwich size bag and put in some fabric softner sheets. Then when your worn dirty clothes start to get funky throw a fabric sheet or two into were your putting your dirty clothes hamper or suitecase. Works amazing. Also If you have a suitecase without combo locks on them buy a couple of tsa locks and put your laptop or expensive stuff that wont fit in your safe put them in your suitcase under the bed and then just lock it up.

      I’m pretty sure those eyedrops can’t be healthy. Never heard of eyedrops in the EU that turn tired eyes white in an instant and I think because it is a health concern

    As an RN I recommend you still buy the small bottles of eye drops. The smaller bottles are used up faster which reduces the amount of time bacteria can contaminate the tip or product.
    Also the Kindle’s are great for old eyes you can enlarge the font, yay!

    Eye drops is actually something that I've never heard people take with them. One that I always say is to take some empty zip-locked bags with you. If you're going to the beach/onto a boat (even a cruise ship tender), pop your phone in there if you need to keep it waterproof - job done!

    I love the collapsible metal straws on Amazon that come in their own little tube with a cleaning brush and carabiner - just took one on a cruise for the first time and it was fab! Definitely beats a paper straw disintegration your cocktail. Easy to clean and fits in your pocket or clips on your lanyard or bag!

    I really like the TSA/make up bag. I love that it folds out flat. I’m always taking my make up bag, putting a washcloth down in the sink, and dumping it all out. Then as I use each piece, I put it back in my bag. But I love that you can see it all right there! I don’t use that much so everything would fit.

    Love these tips! Thanks for the video. One thing I’m a little iffy about is the use of portable speakers on cruise ships. Now the small one you have is good for personal use and it’s not too loud. But some people bring the large ones and they can disturb other passengers since they get pretty loud. Thanks again!

    I do alternatives when it comes to power and charging. I have one of those unidapt cubes that can connect to EU, UK, Australia, and US power sockets and not only provides a power outlet, but also has four USB ports. Not only do I use them in hotels pre-cruise, but I plug them into the European power outlets in the stateroom. I get an extra socket, plus I can charge my devices from it.
    However, I also love a portable charging stand, the type that will charge your Apple Watch, iPhone, and Airpods, as well as turn your phone into nightstand mode.
    I use a travel vest. It's loaded with zippered pockets. I stuff everything into it at airport. Wallet, phone, passport, tickets, chargers, cables, watch. When I go through security, I just send it through the machine and my pockets are empty. I put it on afterwards. I also don't end up with stuff in my pockets on airline trips; all in the vest.
    I love my Kindle, and I also use a JBL speaker.

    Great products for travel in this segment. I really like the sleeve for wrapping around an item to attach to a roller piece of luggage. I wish I had that over 10 years ago! I recently bought a USB charged camping light made by Wagan Tech. It's an LED camping light, flashlight and converts to a night light. Additionally, the battery feature in it lets you use it as a portable charger for other electronics. Perfect for in the cabin or off ship too especially if you have overnight port stays in Bermuda and walk around the port area at night.

    I would be really afraid to put eyedrops in my eyes esp after those 3 brands that were contaminated making people get infections and even losing their sight.

    Question:
    I’m going on a cruise in March, I’m wanting to go on another cruise in 2025. Should I buy the cruise now or wait and buy it while I’m on my cruise this coming March? I’ve been told I would be able to get a better price or better incentives? Any suggestions?

    • @CruiseTipsTV
      @CruiseTipsTV  10 месяцев назад +4

      For the most part cruises are the least expensive, right when the itinerary is released. So you’re probably at an advantage to book it now. However, I would not choose a nonrefundable deposit under any circumstances. Something in your life could change in the next two years. Hope that helps.

    When you book a cruise in your buy the insurance from the ship does that include evacuation insurance automatically?

    • @CruiseTipsTV
      @CruiseTipsTV  10 месяцев назад

      It depends on the policy- a good travel insurance company will allow you to give them a call and talk through what you need in terms of medical coverage, evacuation, etc.

    • @JaniceCrowell
      @JaniceCrowell 7 месяцев назад

      Most insurance from the ship is considerably more expensive for inferior coverage. But do get travel insurance from your travel agent. I know at least one company includes quite a few extras (including pre-existing conditions) if you purchase within 14 days of your cruise deposit.
