Caine is above all else, a people pleaser. Zooble has the habit of saying, (forget it, forget about it and nevermind) at the end of their sentences. And Caine does exactly that. They're effectively sabotaging themselves.

@@Nightowl165 It's tricky, but remember Caine was born an AI. As such he doesn't really understand how humans think or how our emotions work. But he really is trying. As for Zooble, skulking around the tent and brooding isn't gonna help them. They oughta go on an adventure or two. Maybe they'll find what they're looking for. Maybe they'll be inspired. Maybe they might even have some fun. But more importantly maybe they'll keep loveable *ALL POWERFUL* Caine from turning into a tyrant and simply forcing the inhabitants of the circus into doing what he wants.
Possibly. We do know that Caine says the reason he forgot is because he thinks Zooble's problem is already solved, so I think it's unlikely for what you're suggesting to be the only reason.

it's awkward to write out, but it goes like:

you know what that reads to me?
that's a Confirm/Deny prompt, and Zooble keeps confirming that they want Caine to forget their conversation.

A good detail revealed in this episode: Kinger always wants to stay in his fort. It’s dark and there so he can actually be lucid. A sad state of affairs, hope things turn out well for him down the line.
Also the psychiatrist saying to just not be depressed is basically the advice every therapist/psychiatrist from “better” help would say

I have a theory that abstraction is what happens when someone escapes. Their consciousness is no longer in control so their avatar freaks out and glitches.
That can't be it, because Kaufmo was in his room when it happened and - to be honest, I seriously doubt that Queener would leave without Kinger without trying to get back. Moreover, we know that the abstracted Queener was still somewhat conscious lmao.
We already know what abstraction is from the pilot: Giving up on sanity, hence the point of Caine's adventures. Caine seems individually able to recognize that they are/were human beings, but the fact that he puts them in the Cellar when the player characters supposedly can't die makes it clear that abstraction completely breaks the rules of the game.

When she said throw a bucket over his head I realized it would work because in episode 2 he had a bucket on his head and was lucid until he took it off

In the first episode there was a door with a queeny version of kinger, among other crossed out unique characters. Kinger seeking sanity in the darkness explains why he's in his pillow fort all the time.
btw, when u notice there's something said in reverse, there's usually already a YT video with that part rewinded to normal, so u can usually just check it right away

Well, that's a adorable look Makari. I love it, even the skull eyes are pretty cool. ANYWAY, this was the best episode of Digital Circus so far, short, sweet, and adds to the LORE! To think we are 1/3rd the way though the series too, which is sad cus this is such a cool world/show.

Its great to finally see the ghost wife we saw a screenshot of in the season preview video. People were making R34 just from a 0.3 second flashed image of her. Hope we get to see more of her and the other NPCs in the future tho!

Makari, I was wondering if the inconsistent use of Vtuber avatars is on your list of sensitive topics? Because I watch your reactions once a month or a few months and you almost always use a different avatar in your videos, but on the other hand you always use the same model for thumbnails. So yeah, I wanted to ask that.
You do realize alot of thumbnails have a stock-ish look to them due to Jimmy Beast doing that, and after he did that, suddenly everyone no matter the content 1/3 of the thumbnail is the 😃😡😦😨😮🙉🙊🙈
@@TFoxhound Eh, I don't mind the thumbnails. I just, yeah, it feels like every time I start to get used to Makari's new avatar, she changes it. Which I don't really mind either because it's completely her right.

On a different note, it finally sank in: when Pomni is complaining about her situation after being freed from the possession, she says, "He wants me to suffer." Who is "He?" It could be Caine, but I am doubtful. I think "He" is probably the person that somehow got Pomni to put the headset on in the first place. If so, who is he, and why did he do it?

Pomni, even if she is taking after Ragatha and choosing not to talk about it, is clearly angry with Caine because of what happened to Gumigoo, and she is absolutely talking about Caine in that scene. Even if someone DID urge Pomni to put the headset on, she wouldn't blame them unless she had reason to believe that he knew what would happen, which isn't likely.

Its a reaction video, we're here to see her reactions. If we want to see the actual episode or see scenes with the full flow, we watch the actual episode. Plus makari is scatterbrained, so we understand she needs to get a thought out of her head before it disappears in the next moment.
I love people like you. You see the length of the reaction, you click on it, and then you get angry by fighting your imaginary demons, lmao. Don't watch MatPat's reaction or you'll have a seizure.
If you don't like people talking over the video or pausing the video to talk, then it sounds like you'd be happier just watching the original. I'm happier honestly with her pausing than constantly talking over the video. She sometimes misses stuff when she doesn't pause.
I'd rather have her pause every 10 seconds than talk over the characters. While they're speaking, it's better this way.
