Yea the 30 dollars is 100% worth it there is a vip section but the only benefit is you get to sit beside the pool. There's shaded areas available all along the beach and the restaurant for free. If you go with a group the "cabanas" are 150 but you can use whatever you spend on food and drinks so if you have a larger group I reccomend going the cabana route.
