Also at 10:40 maybe they can’t get flattened because they don’t have an animation for it. Just a guess though
Edit: at 12:20 it seems like they have the same fire/lava death animation as the player, which is kinda funny.
Makes sense with an enemy that tanky devs probably thought it would be a waste of time to code a flattened animation

Watching this run, filled my heart with rage.
5:10 not exactly sure here, I know from Illusory Wall's video that the gargoyles can't fall off because they got a special invisible wall that confines enemies and bosses into areas, so normal enemies walk back after they hit the wall after chasing you, and the same wall makes the gargoyles unable to walk over the edge. btw. that's why iron golem falling down is probably intended way of dealing with him. Anyway, could be that this wall still applies to the mushrooms.
Makes sense that they have the wall just blanket apply to everything that isn’t the player. I know gundyrs arena is the same way in ds3

True but if I don’t plan on doing much else besides soulsborne content I don’t think it’s a big deal.
You didn't see the Illusionary Wall video on the invisible walls of Dark Souls, and that's how I learned the Bell Gargoyles have a wall explicitly keeping them from falling out of the arena

only 1 crystal lizard can drop a slab in the hollow tree, and it's guaranteed to drop on the final one in that tree if none of the others have dropped it.

@@kdratio7339 with the randomizer it’s impossible. It’s probably possible if someone else coded a patch for the randomizer but that’s above my pay grade

The mushroom replacing the gargoyle during the cutscene looked oddly fitting. Almost any other enemy just becomes completely distorted but this one kind of maintained its shape.
yeah it was honestly kinda off putting seeing a mushroom in the rough shape of a gargoyle
