I remember that when Fallout 2 has been released, it had an official phpBB forum. The forum used to be a place to chat about the game, and also for reporting bugs. Fans on the forum have repeatedly asked for an editor to create their own adventures. Someone from Black Isle responded to them: "No, there will never be anything like a level editor, because none of you can set up a room that could give sense." These mods prove how wrong the creators of the game were.
I remember when they announced Fallout 1. I couldn't wait for the Demo..and of course played the Demo as soon as it came out. Since then i played all Fallouts. They should do a standalone new part from top down view. Like Fallout 1 and 2.
If you haven't already, check out Wasteland. FO1 was originally going to be Wasteland 2 (or they wanted it to be? Something along those lines), but they weren't able to get the licensing. Some of the people who worked on Fallout, including Mark Morgan, worked on Wasteland 2 and 3. Also, be on the lookout for a game from New Blood Interactive that has the isometric gameplay. Recently I played Olympus 2207 after seeing that Warlockracy video and MAN, that was a hell of an experience. Getting radiation poisoning and shredded to bits by the Olympus elite was something that pushed me of, but when you start to get better loot and skills, everything start to flow. One of the things that I wish it had was a functional car, bc the walking speed is too slow. Also great vid! +1sub
Completely agreed, it is very rewarding to begin to tame the Olympus wastes as you grind forward. The power level the elites although challenging I felt added to its intrigue. I wonder how hard it would be for someone independent to patch in a car that would be a big quality of life improvement. Even better what if we got a vertibird or some sort of experimental air/ground vehicle from Olympus itself or one of the surrounding labs. Appreciate the kind words and great comment!
Just completed Fallout Nevada and Resurrection. Nevada 100% beats Resurrection as far as gameplay and sidequests go, there was just so much to do and ways to use your skills. Resurrection's main story and final area gives it the win in my book though. Escaping the final area was probably the best "final boss" of any fallout game I've played so far. Both get 10/10s in my book though.

@@lore_keep yeah but honestly, the errors were super exaggerated by the internet. Fallout 2 3D looks kinda like Fallout's version of The Elder Scrolls 2: Daggerfall, where as Fallout 3 used Oblivion's engine. I think it's a really cool idea.
Whenever it comes to modding and engine limitations, if someone once said "Oh the game's engine won't allow this", A wise man once said, you can easily replace the sentence with "The Demons won't allow this". However this may sound odd but a fallout game I would like is a fallout game that explores the more tribal set up in the very remote parts of the US or possibly the world.
I really like that idea. I remember my first play through of the honest hearts dlc in NV. Although not a perfect encapsulation of a tribal fallout game, I distinctly remember the feeling as if I was completely isolated in an almost alien world compared to the fallout norm. Great comment!
@@lore_keep I just felt like I need to include my two... 5 cents (I had ot adjust for inflation) about modding, plus the idea of tribals or at least cowboys and Indians in the post apocalypse setting, I would love to see old west guns or at least guns that look like a step up from 4's pipeguns. Like as if professionally built to some degree.
I have a full video regarding Interplays official MMO :). However if you are looking for info about the New Vegas online mod etc I am planning on saving that for a full feature video. I would like to interview those devs directly as creating replication in a completed game without replication is ridiculously difficult.
Playing fallout 2 for the first time right now just wondering which of these should I play next?? So far I’m going for either Sonora or Olympus. 1.5 seems very vague 😂
If you want more of a sequel/prequel experience to your 1/2 play-through I would give 1.5 a shot (it connects many locations, events, etc). If you want something that feels very gritty with similar atmospheres to New Vegas do Sonora. Olympus feels the most unique (in my opinion) lots of techno-religion vibes and factions are a bit more tech oriented.
Hey I'd recommend for your voice-overs, try and use more variety of inflection in your voice, and give a bit more energy. Nothing too crazy, you don't have to go full on Mr Beast, but the less bored you sound, the more engaged your audience will be.
