The Judge must’ve granted a motion the State filed to conceal their image being displayed. Some ppl feel more comfortable b/c a lot people remember faces/appearance rather than names + some ppl have names that if you look 🆙 you’d get multiple people w/the same name & not able to identify by looks b/c they were concealed to the outside public but not all states allow it! Honestly…If we would’ve had that option (Memphis,TN) I’d 💯 taken that opportunity! We were on the stand in my neighbor’s trial whom was murdered when she was 38wk pregnant by her baby daddy! Internet/social media hasn’t always been in play but that statue (in certain states) has prior to those platforms so it was more effective then! It may not do a lot w/the current technology but it gives a lil’ bit peace not having your face everywhere attached to a murder! Even if it’s NOT @ all effective BUT give’s some ppl some peace of mind, which is what matters!

There’s a lot here. I’m just wondering why are you at a strangers house and emptying your purse and sitting your gun on a table? And how and when did it come out of the holster? That doesn’t seem like normal behavior. I would think someone would say he took her gun, took it out of the holster. Just thinking logically, that gun was not in a holster when the defendant got the gun. Which would suggest that someone took that gun out of the holster before he got his hands on it. But why? Why are you emptying your purse? Why are you unholstering your gun? All in a stranger’s house? And if you leave your girlfriend on a floor bleeding out after defending her from someone who accosted her, that doesn’t look like innocence or as if you cared about her. Why not stay to assist her by calling the police and trying to sustain her in some way?
What this witness is saying is not self-defense. It's the deputy police officer for me; looking at Q and the witness, he takes his job seriously. This witness sounds creditable to me.
