It's Saturday night in the colosseum at the 2023 NoBull CrossFit Games Adrian Bozman takes the floor to announce the Final Event that will be taking place prior to the field being cut to 20. Noah Ohlsen is comfortably 8 spots away from the cut line sitting in 12th. He has his eyes set on making a final push up the leaderboard in this, his final year of competition. Adrian is handed the mic. A sense of calm flows over Noah. This isn't his first rodeo. "This will be the most electic Saturday Night in the History of the CrossFit Games," states Bozman. "It's been 18 years too long that the CrossFit Games has yet to feature this movent." "It's of no coincidence that this is also the most popular exercise amongst 18 year old men across the globe." "Ladies and Gentlemen....." "............" "The 1 Rep Max Bench Press." (Bill Henniger rolls out a $2,950 Rogue Bench Press) The stadium erupts, just as Adrian knew it would. A cold bead of sweat rolls down Noah's forehead. ......... Jake Douglas cracks a smile.
I hear ya! Gut feel, and I could be wrong here, but I would assume that for us ‘normal punters’, we don’t do anywhere near as much cardio / engine work as the games athletes? I can only speak from personal xp, but as someone who did traditional gym/strength training for 10 years and became very strong…I only picked up CrossFit and Hyrox 7 months ago and I can safely say I found my strength dipped considerably as I became fitter/started to run etc. It has been a real eye opener…so I now give massive kudos to anyone who can still left heavy but have an engine that allows them to do extensive work too. That would be my assumption anyway, but agreed, the weights in the vid aren’t crazy big in the grand scheme of things!
@@xGoobeyBearx damn bro that’s crazy. If only there was any legitimacy to your claims you could get an invite and could get anywhere from $6k+ to over $200k!
So relatable.. “come on dog you got it…” “no I don’t” lol

I find it nuts that he uses just the hook grip for his deadlift.
why? that's the strongest grip to hold such heavy weight
@@robgronkowski947 mixed grip is stronger
How are my power lifts equal or better but I’m not as big as him or a CrossFit athlete? Makes no sense.

Don't show all your cards before the big game!
While this was impressive. It was irresponsible for so many reasons. Nice way to push folks into injury.
This guys' job is to workout and his "goals" are what I can do lifting 4 times a week for an hour lolololol Didn't realize the bar was set so low.....
Woah so you could’ve gone to the Rogue Invitational this year and placed in the top 10?
Tactical Tubby, you are correct. And after, I’d take your mom to a nice steak dinner and never call her back….

Tactical Tubby, what’s even crazier is how sick you “think” you look in your mediocre larping tactical readiness drill lololol
