Yeah that's right. Buuut.. there are certain problems with crossfit training. Some of the criticism relating to risk of injury when doing certain movements without good technic (and for way to many reps resulting in bad form) is just undeniable. I'm a cali fan myself and did crossfit once. I have a deep respect for the fitness level of crossfitters. Since then I incorporated a lot more cadio aspect to my training in Form of quick supersets. But I can't see anyone being injury free in the long run with crossfit. And (just a personal opinion) I personally don't like the aesthetician of crossfit training. Just look at her form of her handstandpushups. Just looks so clean😊👌🏼
@@richcinematics3944 CrossFit uses a lot of momentum to make exercises more efficient. This still can be done with good form like top CrossFit athletes show time and time again. Just because it isnt like traditional bodybuilding or traditional movement patterns it doesnt mean it is bad form. I went from bodybuilding to CrossFit and i never ever had bad form. @@123italiano321 I respect that and I wish you much fun and good health in the future! All I'm trying to say is, that there is a higher risk in certain exercises. The statistics of injurys in crossfit games is sadly quit horrendous. I wish the rules would be slightly tweaked. Because exercises like a clean and snatch is a highly complex exercise in it self. A weight lifter executes this with high focus and precision. In crossfit you do them until you can't do them no more. That is a high risk you take doing that, because you lose focus over time. A lot of momentum focused exercises have high loads on the joints. Some people have more others less problems. But I also see a lot of unnecessary risk with that. This was such a fun video to watch. Good stuff Noah. I remember like yesterday getting my first BMU. Told the people I was with there's no way ill get it. Hopped up, did it and was like "holy crap! how'd I do that??" Ive never been able to do ring muscle ups though.
I have been following Taylor for last couple of years on Instagram. As we can see, she has amazing strength. She is down to earth, always helps & always always keeps smiling 🙂
really liked how Noah explained the different pull ups in crossfit, only because as a crosfitter myself I hear a lot of trash upon them saying that they arent real pull ups, but all of these movements have standards like he said. thanks for being a great face in the CrossFit Community, Noah! We are all athletes!

I had a problem with crossfit back when it became such a huge fitness fad, and I still have my reservations about it. But, I will always be thankful for their cultural influence on what's considered "normal gym attire" 😍
Great video I hope one day to receive an invite to the 'Train with your t-shirt off' club....as I currently belong to the 'Keep your t-shirt on' club....lol
You can't denied a professional crossfitter can do lot of sport stuff, you can have fun with gymnastic friend, with oly lifting mate, bodybuilder, runner , swimmer and etc. Although not very professional in each category but you can see noah is close to it!!
I can tell you. Before you can do the kipping or butterfly you have trained clean pull-ups because you still need to be strong enough. Dont be stupid, do the things your body is ready for and there is np.
@@anthonycraig274 Might be if you already know a pull-up. I can do clean pull ups but not kipping or butterfly. You need to train the motion and therefore you need the strenght to keep hanging. Blame any trainer that fails to first train straight pull up. Not the movement itself or CF.

I like the fact that they treat it like two different sports which, people seem to not understand that it is. It's like a soccer player should say to a rugby player that what he do is wrong. Lol
Well what do you expect... She can EASILY do real pull ups so of course she can do the cheating version lol. It's like being surprised that someone who can do 50 strict push ups can pull off even more on their knees
CrossFit is like the brokey version of Calisthenics, you try to do the same shit but with poor form and alot of momentum recuding real power, still, any sports you do you still doing a great job, its just funny tho haha, much love to everyone
becausae its a race idiot thatwhy they use momentum for effeciency. did you understand what they're saying? calisthenics do weightlifting after the pullups?
you mean crossfit does things as quickly and as sloppy as possible??? calisthenics focuses on form quality over quantity. sloppiness is not in our vocabulary. plus we're not trying to turn every exercise into a competition... i do notice the abuse of the word efficiency, it's not more efficiecnt, it's just a much lower standard across the board to do more reps or to do it faster. in the short them you can do more reps, but in the long term you will not be able to develop the strength to do more advanced techniques and skills. also, because of the high volume, high intensity, you will develop assymmetries and injuries. it's also harder to be consistent because the standard is so loose, you guys focus too much on reps and not on form so there's no real progress. because of the high level of fatique it becomes very difficult to stay consistent over the long run and not good for longevity and growth.
btw, the kipping pull up actually comes from gymnastics, not crossfit. it's actually a technique/skill in gymnastics that has a learning curve. crossfit just took it because you can do more, in their world more reps is superior to quality.
I love this. There’s always so much unnecessary trash talk. We’re all athletes. We should be supporting each other.
Exactly! Do the sport you like and leave others be!

Doing so is not good idea.
Love videos like this. Collaboration between fitness styles is a must in my opinion.
Such great energy and vibe. Noah you are quite an athlete and person at the same time.
Totally appreciated the non-biased and relaxed view of both approaches.

Love seeing different disciplines in one video! It’s amazing what you athletes can do 🤯
Awesome, very insightful and great to see how quick you two pickup the different techniques
Agreed! I love seeing how pro athletes pick up other sports’ movements way quicker than regular people.
Luv the blended exposure of Cali n XFit athletes. The visual "Venn diagram" of fitness capacities. 💪🤸♀🏋♀
Two thumbs up - if I weren't already in love with functional fitness, this video would do the trick! Great tutorial elements too! THANK you both!! 🤗
Functional fitness?
That's the way of promoting CF. Great Job!

thank you so much !
I had so much fun watching both of u guys. U killed it! I also learn a lot. Thanks noah and taylor ♡
Love this vid!! Please do a 2nd part with a training calistenic sesion and crossfit wod
Loved it! I love Noah’s attitude so much!
Wow Noah taught her in 5 minutes and she did a ring MU! Awesome video guys 🎉

That was awesome!! Keep em coming!!
This was so much fun to watch. I see that crossfit and calisthenics have similar movements. Also Noah is body goals for sure.
Always learning and growing! Love to see it Noah!
One of the more interesting videos! Nice job. Entertaining.
I'm not sure why, but I enjoyed this video so much. Very well done!
The honey on your hands has some origins in gymnastics for the parallette bar routines and practice.
Practicing CrossFit for almost a decade but the more I watch Taylor the more I’m thinking I might have picked up the wrong activity …
Switch up dude, you don't need to stick to one thing forever.
now we need to get Noah with Nathan McCallum and do some ninja warrior circuit!

Cool video! Noah continues to be an awesome human.😄 Really enjoyed Taylor as well. She is super impressive!

I don't know a thing about calisthenics....but I gotta admit, this was a fun video.
its such a fun discipline ! check out Chris Heria - he's amazing
Great videooo!❤

Hey Noah Ohlsen : If no one told you today you are absolute legend.
Nice editing!! 🤩🤩
Outstanding video! 🤙🏾
calisthenics pull ups are so much better
more of this content pls!
Thanks for the video! You have so good atmosphere there and cool vibes! Greetings from Ukraine 💪🏼
Calisthenics: "Here's is an entire book series on how to do this single execise correctly "
Crossfit: "I dunno man, just do whatever works, bro"
yup
I'm definitely more inclined towards calisthenics training, but I don't hate CrossFit.
Just the kipping part.
calisthenics is so fun! but even as beginners we do kipping movements ! I myself still do kipping MU but working towards strict
@@littletfitness yeah, kipping is considered a beginner progression in Cali, it stops being valid after a while lol
I love this explanation of both ways. Haters still going to hate I'm sure though...

Taylor got the RMU so quickly, that was wild!
thank you !
buen video chicos! dos disciplinas distintas sin entrar en competencia todo se complementa.

Two very likable athletes
She was the cutest thing ever! Noah is so personable❤
thank you !
Best video ever!
That was very interesting to watch
This is amazing!
Dont you have any t-shirts over there?
It’s great hearing why CrossFit does the things the way they do but I just can’t take CrossFit seriously. Especially the pull-ups

Do some. The video clearly showed they aren't trivial. And before you judge me, I can't perform them either.
I can tell you. Before you can do the kipping or butterfly you have trained clean pull-ups because you still need to be strong enough. Dont be stupid, do the things your body is ready for and there is np.

Anything with parallette bars!
She's delightful.
Hey Noah, what sneakers are you wearing?
Cali athlete lol simply loved the video!!! :D
3:11 puppy wants out lol
The thumb thing isn't something in comp , and you don't have to put your ears over the bar, only your chin
that would be false. As all comps do enforce the thumbs as well as ears over bar. Perhaps the competitions you are referring to are amateur
wanna see that slow bar muscle up from noah
do crossfitters always have to take off their shirt to demonstrate or train?
Good collab but still think calisthenics is way more healthy in terms of joints and articulations especially in the long term run
Noah, what shoes are those?
Tyr

You should let her know that there are multiple channels on Wechat using her videos to sell products. As in they rip her videos for their own profit.
I knowwww
im so sad about it :( I can't report it tho because their all on platforms outside of North America where I can't download and report
Taylor who dies she have social media, promote her
SHE'S AZULA IRL
"You guys do it a little more pretty" 🤣🤣 yeah I can see it (I train calisthenics)
Be honest, we all can agree CrossFit is super intense but all the kipping they do just looks stupid. It’s bad form and looks ridiculous.
OMG!!! Do you really understand the explain that Noah gave????
Taylor: does a perfectly looking kipping pull ups by first time trying.
Me: still does ugly ones after 3 years of crossfit
