Customer service at Accutune is fantastic. Start to finish, they worked with me to get everything perfect.

Thanks for the informative video Chloe! You’re becoming an off-road journalist of sorts. I’ve been hesitant of leaving the TRD Pro Fox Shocks on my 4Runner for this very reason - they are tuned specifically for the 4Runner and I wouldn’t want to throw any expensive suspension in without a tune for my driving experience.
I didn't even know this was a thing, and was fascinated with the complexity of shock tech. This is one of the best informational ones I've seen on shocks. Had to watch parts of it twice. 😎
Accutune is hands down one of the best shock tuners I've dealt with for this application. One big reason is they're not about full race. They accommodate all driving habits. I just picked up my Fox FRS 2.5 DSCs for my Ford F250. I live really close to them so it's super convenient. I haven't had a chance to run the shocks yet but I have no doubt they will impress me. I'm used to dirtbike/quad or SxS shock tuning so I know 100% that off the shelf shocks get you out there but tuned shocks make your adventure more enjoyable. Great channel and great videos. Keep up the hard work!
Great video Chloe! So many people have great shocks like this, but never realize how much better they can be after some tuning. Makes me wish I had some big Fox's on my F150 to mess with.
Accutune is top notch ! Dealt with Alex and Ryan, great guys who really helped me get my suspension dialed in.
Their truck feels smoother because they're running bigger tires. Moving your 50 lb battery from the front of your truck to under the bed next to the gas tank will make the biggest difference. Not only are you removing 50 lb from the front but you're placing it in the rear so the net effect is significant.
I'm definitely contacting Accutune for some shock upgrades! Great video Chloe!
Thanks Chloe! always a lot of clear information in your videos. The guys at AccuTune look like the real deal and professionals. I'm hoping to find a similar shop in the NYC Area for my Tacoma. Best Regards.
I’ve been running my Accutune Fox performance elite shocks for 4 months now. They are amazing!
What does the tune run you?
@@coltondow1210 if you get your shocks through them it’s free
@@coltondow1210 if not I think just over 100$
I bought through Accutune and they custom tuned the Fox shocks for my Wrangler.
Just purchased my Kings through accutune great bunch of dudes. Went with the adventure tune recommend from Accutune. Install in Tuesday 😊Great video Chloe Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Beyond my driving needs but VERY interesting video
Mike is so cute 😍
I live in El Cajon!! When I saw the exit sign I was like wait what😂
Great video. Lots of really good info and you did a great job showing it.
I bought my 2.5 dsc from Accutune and they came tuned.
Accutune has tuned both my kings and my fox race series. Highly recommend!
Edit: customer service is amazing, I worked with Ryan and he was great.
Great video. Your videos are always very informative too. Keep up the great work.
Another great video, Chloe. Thank you 👍🏼
Great Video!Greetings from Puerto Rico!
Yes great video. But I did see your Run a stop sign.
It was a “California Stop”.
@@atx1459 haha its in a cul de sac, some of the driveways have stop signs, some don't
Cool video, and great information
It's so cute how you're little & love your big ole truck 🥹🥹🥹
Chloe You ran a stop sign. OK I forgive you. Like it
Chloe, Great video! Love the technical side. More!!
How tall are you? How TALL is the Accutune Guy? Looks major difference 🤔
THANKS again 🙃
He is tall, but I think it's just more so that I'm short 😂 next time I'll bring a stool to stand on haha
Chloe - you're Fine! He's Tall!
Nice one for your truck
Hello, how are you? I would like to know how much one of the suspensions you have costs and how can I buy it?
Chloe pieced together her own kit. However, if you are looking for a complete package using the same shocks she has, take a look here:
accutuneoffroad.com/product-category/vehicle-specific-products/toyota/tacoma/toyota-tacoma-2020-2005/mid-travel-suspension-kits/
Interesting the tunes all sounds backwards, generally I think stiff for higher loads like turning and breaking on asphalt. I would think for faster driving off-road you'd decrease rebound to help keep tires on the ground. Very interesting to think about.
shock terminology is definitely confusing at first, low / high speed has to do with shaft speed, not vehicle speed. More rebound means faster rebound (per your example) to keep the tires planted.
And rebound tuning is very specific to how fast you're taking bumps. If you're driving under 15mph, then slowing down rebound will feel better for the driver to reduce bucking (after going into a compression event). But a faster driver needs faster rebound to keep the tires planted after a compression event.
What is your mpg? Did it change after the shock tune? How bad was the hit in mileage after all your mods?
On a side not...what are your thoughts on ECU tunes? will you ever get one?
Time for new bump stops.
What does it cost to have this type of tune done on a truck. Shocks were originally purchased from Accutune (Fox 2.5 DSCs)/
If you purchased from us, those shocks already came tuned. If you are looking to have the valving changed, feel free to reach out to us for your free revalve.
@@accutuneoffroad can the valving get even more dialed in doing what you guys did with Chloe?
@@jackg8478 Riding along with Chloe and having her drive our truck was mostly for this video specifically, not something we offer or is really needed. Since you already have shocks from us we are happy to help make suggestions on DSC adjustments. Just get in contact with our sales team and they can help you out.
What about bilstein shocks??
Has anyone had their Trd pro fox shocked tuned? I know they are “trd tuned” already. wonder if there is a big difference going with a tune like this?
i dont think any tuner messes with the factory fox's, since tuning internal bypass is already very involved, and there isn't readily available kits (seals and other components) ready
Off topic...have you heard if Toyota offers a front Camera for the Tacoma. Like the rear camera but facing forward and can be turned off and on. There is a huge blind spot right in front of the truck. Thanks
I have front cameras and 360 views on my 22 tacoma trd pro. Maybe you could buy after market and install similarly?
TrailGridPro and others make an Anytime Backup and Front Camera Kit and I believe Chloe reviewed a similar one. Fairly straight forward to install and a great product for that blind spot.
Thanks. Going to their website
Hi, check out this video--hopefully it helps! ruclips.net/video/MI-olJnJPEw/видео.html
For smoother ride on highways and also rough pavement roads would you recommend fox shocks ?
Fox is a bit softer over the factory shocks on road and easy trail with rocky chatter, it definitely evens out the harshness. Fox 2.0s make a big difference, the 2.5 option can be softer than the 2.0, but off the shelf (non custom) see a firmer (more controlled) highway ride.
If your budget allows for it, yes some Fox remote reservoir shocks will ride very nice on the terrain you described.
you ran a stop sign.
What they did is they change oil viscosity to high to achieve Off-road capability and stability for high speed on highway.
high speed on the highway doesn't equate to high shaft speeds.
We did not change the oil
It’s not unless you are carrying heavy stuff or racing.
Thicc
You just ran a stop sign! Not a good influencer 😂
Put your hair up in a ponytail
You already spend a lot of money on fully adjustable shocks, why not just use all the adjustments you have to tune the shocks! Unless you are Baja racer, it is so unnecessary to tune them for daily driving!
This video feels like just advertisement to me.
I had the same sentiment prior to getting them tuned (I had honestly thought there would be a minor difference but nothing super noticeable to me), however it was surprisingly a much bigger difference than I expected, even on-road! The DSCs still give you a range of adjustments depending on the terrain/driving, but revalving allows the shocks to perform as well as they were designed, especially if you're like me and have limited up travel because of added accessories

Nice review about the shock tunes by Accutune, for the Fox shocks. … I presume the tune would need to change if you changed the Methods and the tires? 🙃🍷🛻
Wont likely need a revalve from just that. We do however recommend staying away from heavy load range tires like E. Stiff tires like that are hard to tune for.
