It is a little late commenting this now but, I know the settings are very boosted but that's just the settings we use for Easy mode. It is like this to speed up the process of taming and levelling which if we wanted I could just do a note run and get the same result. As for the boosted stats and one shotting bosses, it is set like this to to skip the grinding which I would argue doesn't take skill anyway. Also the bosses in ark don't take skill regardless of the settings you use so don't cry about it :D.

He wouldn't need to grind levels which would be the easy part but still he would have to grind resources and breed dinos and i don't care if he cannot fit it in one video. Split it in a series and i would be fine if he did it in a week or 2 that would be way more impressive than this lol

Thanks, although this speedrun is done with boosted rates so normally I would run brood mother with a megatherium and a shotgun with single player default settings.
Yeah at first I was like damn how can he deal so much damage. Then I realized in never played on anything less than 1 on the difficulty scale or (Override official Difficulty 5) at first I used "single player" settings then I found out that it makes the game more easy. I unchecked it and have set it to Level 6 to get maximum normal dinos at 180. Seems to be what most people prefer.
been playing this game since release and have over 120 days logged on the game, but Holy crap this guy is so fast. I know all the cave spawns and artifact spawns but that all took me days and days of exploring and this man goes and does it in a few minutes
Man the major ice cave use to be so much easier to solo run with just grappling hooks but once they added those purlovias it became a royal pain in the ass
yea this speedrun is called "easy mode" although i wouldn't say it is easier its just quicker and you play the game different to what we call "default" in speedrunning. for example due to the high damage numbers the overseer fight is doable in under 1 minute if you can hit it with enough damage in a small time frame which skips the shield stage hence the name we gave it "shield skip", so it just moves the skill to different aspects of the game

@@meke1560 Theres dilos everywhere. The spitting dino. You get the slingshot at like level 4. Slingshot a couple dilos and tame em. They are super helpful early game before you get riding mounts.
Anybody can play with extremely boosted rates But unless you know the optimal routing Strats your not going to beat it In under 2 hours like this Chad of a human did. Yes Stats are extremely boosted But still takes skill to complete in under 2 hours. Honestly great work.

Hey, I noticed that you entered an admin command every time you got to an artifact, I’m assuming that’s to force spawn the artifact but I was just wondering if u could confirm Edit: idk if this would be practical but you could bind the button to put in engram points crafting etc to your scroll wheel and spin that
I've never ever ever ever beaten the game, collect one artifact, entered a cave and especially have never seen the bottom of the ocean and have played on and off since the game was in pre-release and could barley run... yup on the island living my best life...
It took me 840 hours to prepare for the broodmother with 5 rex lvl 130, 1 giga, 2 yutis, 6 allosaurus, and all of that just to fail. And you Welp Im out of words.

You prob already know this but So you are in a simulation in a giant space station and you need to defeat the overseer to go to aberration and beat that boss until you go to Gen 2 which is the last map There is a lot more but I don't want to spoil it
the easy mode speedrun rules allow for 6 times fortitude so you will see i have 228 fortitude because thats the amount you need to not freeze in the snow/tek cave
I just read the first comment then realized that in terms of Any% this is a valid run, but is kind of stupid because if you are allowed to crank the stats, I could crank them in a way to easily destroy your time. As a long time ark veteran i think by removing any skill aspects from the game such as breeding (there's actually a pretty good fucking bit of skill to do it quickly) that this speedrun really is nothing short of lackluster at best. I can't really justify watching it except periodically on my second monitor as i play ark xD

yes its been increased, if you dont have it least 228 fortitude you will die to the cold in the tek cave

How did you set your single player settings like this? did you install a mod? I want to try this too but my XP Multiplier only goes up to times 3
You have to input the numbers manually into the box, just moving the slider won't work.

The rates are increased a lot so I instantly get max level for the sake of the speedrun as default settings take 20 hours to complete
