we'll be here. Kenya watching
Simply a work of art, how you "play" the CNC machines. Wonderful to see. Epic.
newer Darton sleeve designs have 5mm and more channel from the top of sleeves to allow water flow for the street and circuit racing where it counts and its only been a couple of years since these were still used which are now just for drag racing.
Ah, the joy of good equipment, and the greater joy of good tools. Many thanks!
Learn so much from watching your videos! Liebe aus Australien
Finally showing the EJ22 some love 😁
Looks awesome. Just wanted to point out that your boring head (EWN68) has a resolution of 0,002, not 0,01 as you stated :D I have the same for my VF-2..
I would have probed each cylinder to its own G54 and G55, and do operations for both at the same time, that way reducing the number of adjustments and tool changes, also reducing the probable destortion on the first cylinder as a result of boring out the second.
Great videos!
Amazing video... need more English videos like this!
Die Kaiser Spindelwerkzeuge sind mega! Die Kaiser-App hilft auch ungemein. Klasse Video
Fantastic work, Set up is KING. when you set the sleeves into the block, they both lined up perfectly. to me that is a sign of perfect boring of the block. Thank you for your great channel. (also did you work on the Brazzers Subi?)
Daumen hoch
Looking forward to this one, as I have an EJ22T, that I'm planning on sleeving and building into a 500 AWHP monster.
Same I found a 22T block that has some cylinder wall pitting. Perfect excuse to sleeve it.
Super video. You’re a master mechanic with very sophisticated tools!
Have you considered getting one of those renishaw tool offset checkers? It might be a few thou more accurate than checking the Z height off the deck surface. I doubt it matters too much if the deck is surfaced afterwards but it's one less variable to possibly go wrong. It's awesome to see how far your shop has come along!
Just noticed you have it, was that just to double check you had the deck height right after probing?
Diesnt matter how you do it, what matters is do it right.there are a lot of errors during the face on engine head.
Sehr saubere Arbeit!!Ganz Toll gemacht
Beautiful work as always!
As I do this everyday with all my billet blocks aswell as sleeving oem blocks, I don’t do 4 cylinder engines, only v8’s, just a tip, probe the bore centres on both bores and let the machine run 2 cylinder pots on the same boring head adjustment, or depending on depth, side mill the old sleeves until touching alloy, then bore to size with the boring head.
You’ll be surprised how much faster you’ll get the machining done.
You are a great fellow! You are engaged in very difficult and responsible work! Only success to you !!!
That CNC does beautiful work
A very beautiful job, very precise
Great video and awesome to see you giving this EJ22 some new life. Just wanted to clarify that the EJ22 was not at all a WRC engine, and not developed for that purpose, so it's a bit misleading to title the video as such. The Subaru WRC engine was always based on the closed deck EJ20 (2.0 litre), and featured an o-ring'd block as well as machined channels for a complex coolant/oil gasket
Yes we got the point.. but do you vape?
@@Barrenchats All day 'erryday
Wie immer perfekt arbeite....
Wow. I wish I could do this to my closed deck ej22.
Can’t wait
Wow!
This is the real deal.
Amazed how talented people can be in different fields however, we still don't have a vaccine for the corona virus and aids.
I'm now on board with Mahle gaskets thanks for all the tip's you share :D ... odd fact but during this trying times in the global crisis I had to buy my OEM parts for my EJ 25 from America to save my self $200 CDN.. WTF Canada. Oh Cana'Duh.
Thank you for very good Video.....
Nice! Thanks so much! Best wishes from France.
Rich.
👌Supergeil CNC - performance! ✨
I have nothing to say but, weldone
Brilliant work!
Beautiful work, but why not switch between holes while the diameter of the boring head is set?
Amazing job ♥️♥️♥️♥️!!! I really enjoy watch this 😍
when you'll start working on the billet cnc block ?
Great Man Awesome stuff !!!
Nice work fella🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
Hello I would love to see you guys collaborated with FI Perfomance they do alot of Subaru engines with custom internal work i think if they could get a few of your blocks they can make over 1000hp they have a sti making 800hp right now i would love to see what kind of power numbers your desighs make it would be great content.
As always, great viewing pleasure. Regards from Poland!
be one with the Machine
piece of art!
Love your work. Hope to get you to build me an engine one day!!
You are a genuis.
Now I know why "sleeving" $HOULD CO$T what it does..
👍😎
love these awesome videos
Hi u r doing great and precise work, I need your help or suggestion about sleeve for my Yamaha rx100 two stroke single cylinder block, please from where i can get it for high performance because Yamaha stopped supplying new block in market and i am trying to restore my bike , after market china made block available in the market but not satisfied, engine heating, sound and firing change. When i was watching your video i see a hope, Thanks
Why don't you use 2 WCS (G54 and G55 ) on the offset page to run the same program on both cylinders simultaneously, so you don't have to change the size of the boring head so many times
PD: im sorry google translator
Can you build any other engines other than Subaru? I would love to have you build a Mitsubishi 4g for me. Your skills are amazing. I have a Subaru as well but I want to build a 90’s Eclipse gsx
Hi Andy
Supernice job as always. How do you remove the old sleeves in the EJ22? Just by cutting them away with the CNC milling machine? Or do you press them away before boring the correct sizes for the new ones?
Many thanks. I wish I could understand German to better appreciate all your details
Nice...but I saw another guy with some grey hairs came by during your time lapse. Who is he? Did he inspect or have some expert advice? Just curious but great job though👍
Can anyone explain why you would "check" if the block/haas is level with that thing? (Wasserwaage) thats not accurate enough or? Its better with that thing on the Haas?
The block can be damaged or some dirt you haven't been noticed gathered on the bottom. Checkling for level is an easy/fast way to be shure.
-> measure twice, cut once.
Very good. 👏
damn this kaiser thing is probably worth more than my car
When Covid19 kills your haircut completely 😂 - Nice video, nice machining!
Einfach krank!
Mona Lisa!
Hello bro how you doing that's great cnc how do I get one for my self Joseph Uganda
How long did it take for this process? Just curious. Keep up the great job! Love your videos!
i do it amnually and its fast.
I have an old car, I would like to strengthen the engine in it, what parts should I replace?
Please help, I need your information
large piston, thick piston rods, large crankshaft
is it enough to power the engine
Please....
Depends on engine tbh
I would go for:
1. Better tires
2. Intake
3. Exhaust
4. Eventually turbocharger
@@SzymkowiAK47 thanks dear
@@MURATSEYİTHALİLOĞLU and don't forget about chiptune to set everything right and correclty. Otherwise you can lose some power
Fantastic work👌 will you be Aqua/bead blasting the block? OCD...
What sleeves did prodrive use in the wrc cars for Subaru? Capricorn maybe?
Appreciate tutorial.
Super!
SOHC heads on the table!
super job ;-)
Installiere die Büchsen mit flüsßiges Stickstoff. Das macht dass Leben leichter!
When you press them in, do you use anything on the sleeve walls to improve thermal conductivity, like a COPPER spray? They used to recommend that for cylinder head gaskets, but I don't see anyone talking about it/using it anymore. Kind of along the same theory as your custom copper wire fire rings that you press in.

Show!!!
where do I buy sleeve? Is sleeve available for every engine?
man i want to do this to the EJ22 in my impreza
I need a shop that can do that here in Southern california , anyone knows a place ??
HAND JOB :D
Is it real to bore el154 or ej204 for darton 99.5?
Set the level with dial test indigator.
Kurze Frage.
🔥🔥🔥👍👍👍
👍👍
Antaster
It was a hard work to do.....
Zer good
Do you prefer sleeved blocks or closed engine blocks?
Toua Moua The best is both! A well supported sleeve
Is this the Prodrive Subi ?
Where’s the 6 cylinder build?
ach gesehen Renishow
A German guy using HAAS not DMG?!

Premiere AMK
sorry!Nicht Böse gemeint!
