I owned Leica M9 for many years and later bought M10. I owned M10 for a year and sell it. Recently I just sold M9. I love M9 very much. I decide to sell M9 because it gets very old, batteryy is very expensive for its capacity and 2nd hand price now is still good. You mention in video that pictures from M11 is very like from M9. Can you explain more how it is? I would appreciate for your advice.
It seems like we share a similar experience. Personally, I have a deep appreciation for the Leica M9, but as time passes, it's starting to show its age. I've noticed that the colors on the M11 appear more vivid and saturated compared to the M10P, which M10P can sometimes produce flat-looking files. When I shoot with the M9, I find that the sharp colors tend to stand out more, and the M11 produces a similar effect. However, I have noticed that the skin tones from the M9 appear more pale and pinkish compared to the M11. Currently, I'm using the M10P, I'm waiting for the M11P.
When I used A mode on M11, the exposure was perfect. But when I switched to use manual shutter speed, the exposure reading always makes the image overexposed. I tried with different metering settings too.
@@Tahusaco I have read or seen a vid somewhere with a few people having an over exposure problem with the M11. I think you should put a call into Leica on this.
The menu metering is the simplest i have ever experiment in 60 years.
Agreed and has the same conslusion after trying M11. Stick with M10R and wait for M11R .
Let’s make some good photos with gears that we have!
Why wait for M11R what wrong with M11?

love my M11.....the bestttttttt
1.6.1 😊
Great video
Same here, agreed. However, I can't stand the red dot after using the M10P for so long. I need that logo less M11
Exposure problems? Over exposed by any chance?

Welcome to SG!
🙌🏻
Wait for the M11-P or M11-R or M11-D
M11-P for sure, the others either won’t happen or will be obscure/less relevant cameras.
Why wait
@@GurmeetSingh-fr8uo Because they are not out yet
Still prefer M10R Black Paint and M10M Leitz Wetzlar than M11.
I would love to try M10M!
@@Tahusaco I love my M10M most....once you have a M10M, you will forget about the colour version of M.
No camera is perfect.
