I think legs are even more important than arms in Table Tennis. If you aren't in good position then you make a bad shot and if you only use your arm to swing then that might even cause some injuries. That's why I always get mad when people say: Legs aren't important or Table Tennis is played only by arm.
My opinion: Legwork is the MOST important thing in table tennis. The moment you have to "reach" for the ball, with your arm, you made it wrong and many other mistakes will follow, because you are off balance.
