I think it's really cool that Fang and his team are sharing so much knowledge and coaching people in person. Keep the videos coming!

Yo. Just watched a match today and Adam Bobrow mentioned Fang Bo analyze and demonstrate Quadri Aruna’s forehand. Do you have it? Can you post it?

On the demonstration at the end of the video, am I the only one seeing he’s not following the spin but going against it as well?

Because this is not a 100% rule, you can still go against it but it’s harder to control, also if the spin is not so high, you may go against it

Who said anything about it being a 100% rule? 🤦‍♀️

He is following the spin 100%. Opponent doing a pendulum sidespin. Ball rotating towards the left. He is hitting the ball from right to left in the backside of the ball --> He is following the spin.
If opponent does a reverse sidespin serve, the way to follow the spin would be to hook the ball a little, so hitting the ball from left to right.
But if the ball has pure sidespin, also hitting the top of the ball could be nice as it doesnt have rotation at that part.
In the backhand would be the opposite.
      Glad I can help.

It didn’t look like he’s hitting on the back side of the ball to me. If he did, the ball would have travel curving to the right (from his eyesight).

But yeah. That was my thought too. However, I just don’t see him doing it.
