Wa alaykum salam brother. What a perfect way to end this video On the tower of sultan, i personally like their size (based from images), as it makes them look as big as the stone wall. It portrays the menacing image, Just imagine being an archer on wall with the height advantages and the enemy just bring those humongous siege towers/rams, giving their archer height advantage and protection and as protected ladders for assault troops, or as a huge and protected rams to knock down the gate. Being able to shoot arrow makes it a more "true" siege tower than the actual siege towers in aoe2 or 4 where you need to ungarison archers to shoot
Civ changes but not too drastically? Named as one former civilization on same region? Gameplay is unique and give a notable resemblance to the history? Now this is variant civ fr fr
I doubt they can pickup 2 relics, but from what Age of Noob said, they might have some kind of ability to either negate the religious abilities from opponents religious units, or some good damage against them (and speed from being mounted). And needing to have a relic to use the mass heal is a good idea.
I was a little worried about the Ayyubids at first but after watching pour video I'm really excited for them. Also I'm glad that they now have a more fitting name even though I didn't find this issue to be as... pressing as some other memebers of the community.
I've been kinda skeptical of this since release but these are some very cool mechanics and I love the idea of the variant civs. I'm one of those people who liked AoE 3 more than AoE 2 on a lot of levels and I love that they're making these civs a little more unique.
I guessed they would keep the house of Wisdom and I think this is a good way to make another spin on it. It makes me think a bit of the AoE3 and AoM age ups where you have to choose certain bonuses, although it isn't exactly the same thing.
