    I've been collecting a lot of receipts and papers, didn't know they were called thermal paper. thank you now i can go and buy a few rolls and try this tutorial out too.

    Qual é o comprimento que você usou? Eu teria dificuldade em dobrar com o rolo, acho melhor cortar o papel antes.

      Com uma tira de 8cm de largura, cada volta da mola vai usar 20cm
      A minha tem 15 voltas, então 15x20cm = 300cm

    Great idea, but every lap is a new layer and new layer is higher model, so step from 11:53 is getting harder with every layer

    Good model but it looks a bit tricky to make also where did you get the paper? (Nice fail ending)

      It can be found on office supplies stores, It's a roll used for cash registers and adding machines. You can find it online if you search for "thermal paper roll" or "receipt paper roll" (the only problem is that they are usually sold in boxes with many rolls, but you can buy a single roll too)

    Hello Jo, or anyone who might know, we are having a problem with this project. Our son has been trying, he’s very good at origami, but it keeps winding up out of symmetry as he goes along. We could not find 8cm wide, ours is 7.5cm. Would this tiny difference be cause it to loose its form as the project goes on?
