i was playing the game an hour ago and i managed by god knows how to get a probe inside an ef5 although i lost those points by accidentally driving into the tornado and dying

I was playing this yesterday and the first time out I was chasing a storm cell and I was like dang, this wind is really whipping me around. Freaking tornado dropped right on top of me 🤣
One thing i think would be cool if we had the option to build our own probe.
You could use money and or xp to buy a base for the probe then start adding instruments to it. In the end you could have cameras on it to take pics from inside the funnel and other readings.

When there where 3 tornadoes in Corwan the town was hit because in the pictures it says visible debris 48 so houses where damaged

It is a improvement if the police trucks have additional flood light to help spot the twisters.

Jeff, If I recall right, when you repair you car, you loose your probes, thats why you got no data, as its a fixed item on the SUV, but wont work without rebuying the probe.

I'm fine with the police lights being as they are, right now it seems they're focusing on bugs and optimization which is more important. I'm sure down the line they'll improve on it or add modding.

I've been playing on a mac and now i'm FINally able to get a pc i got one with 32gb ram and its a desktop one for my moniter so i can finally play with it with smooth fps
So I'm sure you may know of it but finding this on Steam I found Outbrk, it's still being made but if it's completed and done well looks to be even better than this one. Their radar is definitely better from what I can see.
The tornadoes on this game seem to blend in TOO much to where it's basically impossible to see without light behind it which is unfortunate

I was playing this around a month ago and was disappointed to see that there were no updates. Also noticed all my missions had reset so i did the first 2 and got bored. Hope this update changes things 🤞🏼

I know this game was developed by that other tornado chaser game you showcased, and you have played both, but side by side, which do you really prefer? Storm Chasers has been around longer than the other one.
Cloud didn't develop Research & Rescue. Sam did. The same modder who made the radar for this game.

Maybe you have to re-activate your probe after a repair? I'm assume a repair is like a reset.
No. With the SUV, you have to turn it back on again manually. But, when you respawn the vehicle, you have to pay $600 (aka, the price of 2 probes for the pickup).
if only this was on console id be playing the hell out of this game
game could really benefit from a bit more scenery. Nothing fancy, just some more houses and trees here and there

Hopefully they fix the hail damaging the engine, its just not realistic. I could see crashing doing it.
If this had better level design and more coherent storm structures it would be 10x better
