I really like this version and this group, but I agree, I like the other version better. I was lucky to see that in concert. It was the song they did to start the show after the intermission. It was so cool having the singers and dancers come down the isle. (I think that was the Emerald Isle Tour.) I saw another concert after that one that had these ladies in it and that concert was great also. They did the Nil Sin La song after the intermission in that concert and I loved it too. I don't remember what tour that one was, but it was the last concert I attended before Covid. Both of those tours did Amazing Grace at the end of the first session which we loved. (We were hoping they would do it the second time we went since we wanted my Aunt to experience that.)
I was fortunate enough to see this lineup twice in concert. The ladies sound even more incredible live. In many ways, the recordings do them no justice whatsoever. Mairead’s Ave Maria left the whole theater speechless.

I love Mairéad nesbit, the way she plays and dances is purely impeccable and incredible. The way that she smiles is purely treaser in it's own never mined the fact that her dresses are absolutely amazing and fabulous and I love the fact that she plays with her soul. I've used her in some of my art projects because I'm inspired by her!!

I really like this version and this group, but I agree, I like the other version better. I was lucky to see that in concert. It was the song they did to start the show after the intermission. It was so cool having the singers and dancers come down the isle. (I think that was the Emerald Isle Tour.) I saw another concert after that one that had these ladies in it and that concert was great also. They did the Nil Sin La song after the intermission in that concert and I loved it too. I don't remember what tour that one was, but it was the last concert I attended before Covid. Both of those tours did Amazing Grace at the end of the first session which we loved. (We were hoping they would do it the second time we went since we wanted my Aunt to experience that.)

I was fortunate enough to see this lineup twice in concert. The ladies sound even more incredible live. In many ways, the recordings do them no justice whatsoever. Mairead’s Ave Maria left the whole theater speechless.

Did the blonde violinist leave? My daughter would pretend that she was dancing around on stage pretending to play the violin just like her. Daughter started violin lessons because of her. 7 years and she still plays every single day and loves it!!!
Yes she announced in 2016 she was leaving to pursue her own career. If you buy the 20th anniversary DVD she's on it along with Lisa Kelly, meav and Chloe agnew. They all came back to Celtic Woman just for the 20th anniversary.
