Predator was my very first roller coaster and my first upside down roller coaster was Flashback at Six Flags New England, I didn’t experience upside down coasters until I was in college and I decided to get over the fear and just do it and realized it wasn’t so bad, but Predator I went on when I was a kid and I loved it
its amazing I highly recommend it, the issue is they are currently understaffed, so some rides are closed, and some go under maintenance quite often, other than all that, if you go on a week day, there will be practically no rides. I didnt even have to wait on the ride of steel
Have not been there since 97-98. Doesn't look like much has changed. The only new coaster was the Tantrum and motocoaster. Was a good little park that seemed like it was staying with the times in the 90's, but looks like it is stuck in time now.
I remember riding an identical version of the 1st coaster called flashback when I was 9 or 10. The shoulder harness didn't click down as tight, or it let up one, I can't remember but I remember being small I felt like I was slipping out after the cobra roll into the loop. I remember thinking, I hope I stay in on the way back. I had to hold on to stay in. I didn't ride it again until I was 14. Never that same seat though.
I went to Darien lake literally yesterday and made the mistake of going on the superman as my 2nd ride, I was scared to ride the other coasters so I didn't have as much fun as I probably Could've later on
OMG VIPER is still there. Thanks for the memories, great video. Viper was there in 1984 and was the only coaster at the park when I worked there. So the WOOD coaster Predator how would you rate it from being jerked around or it is smoother?
Predator has historically had a reputation for being extremely rough, but it's recently been re-tracked by GCI and most accounts I've heard have said it's a big improvement. Beside the roughness, it actually has a decent layout with a few good airtime moments
I went here for my first time 1 or 2 weeks ago and I loved it, the first ride I went on was the ride if steel, BAD DECISION, anyways, one con is that all of the workers at like food stands are really moody and rude, but I get it, they have to stand there all day when it's hot, but still, if you hate your job then don't work there. Other then that it is an amazing park and I highly recommend going if you haven't already!!!
The bat, top gun, wildabeast, a slightly different version of bohemoth, the fly and leviathan is what I just seen, all these coasters can be ridden at Canada's Wonderland for a fraction of the price

I was always scared of the tantrum looking at the POV it looks like nothing
Tantrum feels like nothing. There’s not much g force that you feel from my experience
@@Lauren_Cat thanks for telling me :D
How is mind eraser? I know the SLCs have a bad history. Is it as painful as they say?
Yes, having been on it myself its pretty brutal
Just keep ur head back and it’s fine

I'm going in three days
😅I am

hi
Does the predator still beat the sh*t out of you?
Looks like it
They changed the tracks a bit, but yeah every time I go on it I get a new bruise somewhere.
Dg

Just get a season pass 🤷♀️
Darien Lake doesn't have a giga coaster. Nothing in the video looks close to Leviathan.
Bohemoth is a b&m hyper and ride of steel is an intamin hyper. Canada’s wonderland is probably better but it’s not the same as Darien lake
Plus I just looked at prices and Darien lake is cheaper
