    Excellent break down Trevor, thank you! This snare lick is a perfect metaphor for my life. I need 5 extra friends to play it correctly, but I only have one friend.😳

    Yeah, we didn't have drum or percussion instructors that even knew how to do any of this in high school, which is annoying because I really wanted to learn how to play like this.

      Ikr! Ours can’t do it either, and I was the only kid in hs who was ambitious enough to practice this stuff on my own. Very annoying. Seems like the only places you can play this kind of stuff is DCI lol

    Dang, those kids have hands! Too many programs just teach rhythmic accuracy and technique, but not chops!

    be nice if you finished playing it .The next to the last measure was left out completely but the last measure was played.

      He played his part in a split down the line, you just play one group of 4 from those notes while the rest are played in sequence down the line.

      Well he’s not wrong, it technically is a triplet with diddles on the 1st and 3rd partials

      TAKE A LOOK AT THE 26 essential drum rudiments. Admittedly, people have created more.....but let's stick to the first 26

    He didn’t do the insane 32nd note fill in at the end, all he did was a buzz rool

      That 32nd note part is split down the line, each person gets an eighth notes worth of thirty second notes.
