Do you have photos or videos to use as a tutorial for your starter locs? I really love how they are looser and less defined in this and later videos, than other loc'd styles which gives a cuter look and more versatility.

I want to style my locs that I started about 4 months ago, but I'm afraid too much manipulation will damage them. I came here looking for advice on that. My question was, should I not style too often at this stage? I'm amazed that your hair can handle that type of styling being starter locs. Have you found that styling like that has damaged yours at all?

Thanks ive been seeing so many just short loc vids but no one with my similar hair texture i normally put it in a braid Mohawk but my hair started to unravel at the ends only 7 months in but need a style for work in thr medical field so uea this helped

Hi, i dont know why my locks are not locking up, its my third week and i washed them a few weeks ago , they came off💔 i feel bad, i need help
ijayi lumumba if they are only 3 weeks, give them time. Everyone’s hair is different. It may take months to lock. Maybe consider 2 strand twist also.

I am trash. I'm struggling to do any of these, but I'm a guy who is not use to having to style my own hair. Growing up my mother just made me get cesars and fades. I almost want to call my hairdresser and ask her to do it, but these videos seem so easy and it would probably be a waste of money to have her put up a bun.

Dude, I'm a 26 year old woman with afro-textured hair and I can't style my own hair for anything. I've been natural for going on 5 years now and I STILL can't style my hair. I always kept it short so I can rock fros. I'm getting locs installed next month and I'm already freaking out, haha. Don't worry about it. Just as I'm going to learn, YOU'RE GOING TO LEARN. It just takes practice. Good luck!
