The whole point is to have consequences for bad actions. Bud light was once the #1 beer, and now they've been humbled by their stupidity. That can occur with any company if they push this non-sense. This hurts everyone, Being known as the ceo of a crippled brand hurts them in every way possible. Who wants the risk of anyone in management who's caused such damage.

People have been very vocal about these issues for years, you can only do so much when other people are brainwashed to vote one way. 2016 in the US taught us a lot about media, and how it functions in politics. Fake news was put on notice, regular people who took neither side were now on a side. With everything going on people are sick and tired of everything going on. You're going to see change one way or another. -but to say nothing can happen to any of these companies, or people who run them is just naive.
Boycotting John Deer and Farm Supply here in the USA did work, and when they changed their policies, their sales came back.
All Harley-Davidson has to do is the same as the previous company's did, and their support will return.
If you don't take a stand, then other companies will continue to force their ideologies on people who don't think as they do.
Here in the USA, our Constitutional Republic dictates the rights of the individual, not the collective.
That's why we are not a democracy and we are a Constitutional Republic.

Starbucks, Mc Donalds are loosing their sales. There are reasons. Are those, who are boycotting suffering? No. They switched to local, small brands with much better quality food. Can you fight these Vanguards and Black Rocks? Surely. You just need to want.

Talk to dealerships. The ones I've heard from tend to have the same problems and frustrations with the moco that you do... The dealerships are your neighbors. The moco does not care about you as a customer, most dealerships do.
My opinion is that Indian will become THE iconic USA bike in the future. Harley has made a mistake with this woke orientation and Polaris will take advantage on it. Moreover: Indian can satisfy both issues: the masculine aspect of the bikers, because Indians were great warriors, and, at the same time, show respect for native americans, now a minority, which fits very well into the woke narrative.
Spitting in the face of the buyer and non-brainwashed customer is not good for most companies. Isn't it enough that universities have now degenerated into cadre schools for socialism? Why does a company like Harley Davidson have to bow to this trend? The woke movement has already caused enough damage in the western world. Anyone who goes along with it is also guilty. Boycott them to the limit!
Buy a used twin cam from your buddy down the road. Let the new bikes rot on the showroom floor.

The first thing I looked at was the person making accusations and what’s in it for them and do they really care about the damage they will do to the company or is it just a look what I’ve done self promotion campaign and I think it is one of them . I have sat through at work interminable hours of company core values, inclusion/anti discrimination and environmental impact presentations most of which can be summed up by the Biffa lorry driver putting all our carefully separated paper ,plastic,cans etc. Rubbish straight into the compactor in no particular order ,but we were seen to do something. This whole thing to me has more to do with where American politics is at this moment which appears to be very polarised and like the UK there are “influencers”who don’t need to rely on facts or the truth to make accusations .
@@johnludmon510 Buy backs happen when companies have spare cash and theres nothing else thats better to buy. The buy back just decreases the number of small investors, the major players end up with a bigger % slice of the pie and eventually make more money from that.

If you do a little research you will find that Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Triumph, Ducati, BMW and Indian (yes still) are all doing the same things.
It’s literally everywhere from major automotive manufacturers, retail stores, grocery stores, clothing brands, food brands, banks, sports teams, movies, music and anything else you can think of.

Well it worked for Budweiser. As far as share holders I couldn’t give a rip. Harley is slowly moving all of their building and motor clothes out of the USA anyways. So there really aren’t any people left in the US to hurt. I’m not saying I’m going to burn my bike I’m just saying I’m not going to buy a new one or buy any parts from the company. I’ll keep my bike and I can just about build a new one with aftermarket parts. Sturgis is the largest rally in our country and Harley’s booth is empty this week. It’s already been boycotted. Tractor supply is a large company here and they went woke and after being boycotted they saw the error of their ways and got rid of DEi and all of the other crap that goes along with wokeness. So when Harley see’s their company taking a dive they will change or go bankrupt. We are not going to be nice about this shit anymore.

Nah, it won't backfire. Boycotts work, and no energy is required to not spend your money. HD has been able to turn a deaf ear to HD riders for to long. Calling corporate, tweeting, even picketing, are all things they can weather. Empty showrooms is something they can not. People aren't going to get rid of their HD, they will not buy new ones, apparel, gear. You are right about the investors/shareholders, though. But imagine if sales drop 25-50%, imagine stock prices plummeting, imagine people ignoring HD tents at Sturgis, Daytona, Myrtle Beach, and events wherever they're held. Make them sweat. Vote w your money, and vote in politics, break the mindset that you NEED a new HD to be happy. Dont be led, lead. Great video.
PS Imaging if HD was actually run by people to love the bikes, not the revenue from them, imagine if they understood the culture rather than try to change it. Its easy if you try.

Not boycotting HD is a bigger problem. When HD is gone, it will have no impact on me at all . However, having DEI people making production decisions will put my life at risk every day. So, no DEI . It is the responsibility of the shareholders to get the trash out of the board room. Shipping jobs to Thailand is a big problem.

I own 2 Harleys and am willing to sell them both and move over to Indian who was willing to drop the DEI and focus on making "American" made bikes.

Target moved their children's trans clothing from the front of the store. The paying customer does and should have a say. Our dollars do the speaking for us. Boycotting worked good for the leftists over the decades. Feel bad for the workers but their company doesn’t feel bad for them at all. I have an older Harley and was looking at getting a new one. Not now. There are plenty of great bikes other than Harley.

Generally agree with you but its not going to stop me from boycotting Harley Davidson, i was in the process of buying a trike but told dealer principle i wasn't going forward with the purchase, i have 4 other harleys and a Buell but enough is enough.
I am small fry but had enough of this woke bullshit. Harley is gone in my view way before this, aging core customer base, increase of price per unit and reducing number of units for sale, no decent intro bike, honestly how thick are these people, look at the new triumph 400cc bike, selling hand over fist. Just look at Geelong Harley with the new franchise look, cost a bomb and all the older bikes given the arse....well its my time to give a new purchase the arse.
The core customer base hasn't actually aged it's still primarily the 45 year old's that are buying them. (I just bought my first one at age 48). The latest video at "Spikes Corner" goes over this and he talks about how Harley plans to buy back $1 Billion over the next couple of years. Perhaps there hope is to go woke drive prices of shares down before they start buying them back.

The ceo just told millions of customers they can be replaced with a younger group. Hd is turning their back on the people who keep them in business. If the board doesnt realize their base is their bread and butter, i wont feed their agenda or buy their product.

I have been looking for a touring bike for my wife and me. I do not own one. I was looking at a HD and now I am not. They are off my list. I have cash to buy and now I won't. Let's be honest. This is just the latest move in the long history of HD making poor business decisions. I teach a class in equity valuation at a university and I remember using HD as an example of a company that is so iconic yet just can't get out of its own way and make good decisions. The key thing that HD had was customer loyalty and identity. Love it or hate it, HD riders are HD riders and they owned it. Good for them. Now if that loyalty is tested again and again, the company deserves....all companies deserve to face the ramifications of ignoring their customers.

Some of us got wise and gave up on H-D decades ago. Their bikes are more of a status symbol. Other companies have been making better motorcycles than H-D For a long time. My Honda can beat up your Harley. 😊

I live in Milwaukee and drive a Harley. The engine plant located here, Harley is moving most of the production the plant does to Thailand. Is that going to reduce the cost of a Harley? NO! Are the workers in Thailand going to get the same wages as the workers in Milwaukee made? NO!! It's just corporate greed. I as well as several of my ridding buddies have taken our Harley emblems off our bikes, and so far any parts needed to keep our bikes running, we have some local shops that make comparable parts as well as repair shops to work on our bikes. So my bike may have started as a Harley, it may have an S&S engine and so on. Might seem small, but this can grow and maybe, just maybe Harley can buy itself back from these outside owners.

thats correct but that just means they have plenty of cash and they have nothing outside to buy. Eventually less shares means a greater % holding for the major shareholders

Im keeping my bike, I'll probably change insurance from HD to something else, I will refinance or payoff early to avoid paying HD more intrest,and buy aftermarket parts.

Obviously as an American, I 100% disagree with your view on the boycott. The employees will understand, go woke go broke. Will NOT buy another Harley or the merch until they walk back this woke bs. Will be buying aftermarket American made parts, taking off all Harley badges and emblems on my bike. Unfortunately boycotting is the only way to fight for change. I could care less about the stock holders. The stock market is rigged anyways. My investment is which bike I buy, and if a company goes woke against the backbone of their supporters then they can bet im a lost customer.
