- Hi, It's Nancy from the Decoupage Queen design team and I want to share my May project with you using Afternoon Hummingbirds rice paper on an oval box. Some things you'll see me make are embellishments with air dry clay, stencils, stamps, stripes with chalk paint, brown and gold wax. Enjoy!

So beautiful! I thrifted a big box not long ago & this would be perfect. May I ask what clay u're using? I've been having the roughest time w mine lately. It won't stay firm & feels sorta "sticky". The patterns are falling apart, it doesn't want to come out of the molds, etc. I've tried all the "tricks" I can think of & it's just not working. I've even bought new clay(4!) thinking I had a bad batch! It's been so frustrating. I'd appreciate any suggestions.Thank you!
