Maybe I missed it but on the finished piece the flowers seem to have colored dimensional bits in them. What did you use to make the flowers so colorful?
I have a question? Does rice paper go on smoother than vellum? My vellum is always got waves or bumps and you can see the mod podge... I can't wait to hear back. I love this project and can't wait to try it!
I’m not sure what vellum paper is exactly but from googling it looks like tissue paper. The difference is that rice paper does not expand when in contact with water based products so there’s no change in size. So it goes on nice and smooth. If vellum is like super thin tissue paper, it will change in size when in contact with water based products, it’s just how it is with these kind of papers. Try wetting it with water spray on a piece of plastic sheet, then transferring to your piece that you want to decoupage :)
