- This song is taken from the Message From The Country CD. I expanded the dynamic range and widened the stereo sound field. I also removed the annoying acoustic guitar's high pitch feed back squealing. I hope you enjoy this version!

fantastic little single,
Thanks for sharing ! Roy Wood and Jeff Lynne made some awesome work in 1970- 72. It was sad that the Move had to die. Wonder what they had done later together.
Wow, I have never seen this before. So cool.
I've loved this song as long as i can remember...takes me way back to my childhood, hearing it on the radio in the kitchen whilst my mum worked the twin tub washing machine...so must have been about two/three year old i think?? still love the melody, roy's vocals and the kind of out of key singing....nostalgic, on its third listen!
If proof were ever needed that cream always floats, here you have it!
Love the Move great track
I loved The Move! They were the ultimate in cool in their prime.
Doesn't get much better than this!
Que buen tema en verdad primera vez que la escucho....Me gustó mucho!!

@uncleangler Didn't you read the header?
The poster said he took the audio from the CD and remastered it. What are u talking about "Out of Sync?" Jeez!
Jeff Lynne is a great talent but the one who makes me melt is Bev Bevan... always did, always will
+Frances Bell I went to see Bev and his band a couple of weeks ago he still looks really fit for his age...but is now dark blonde! I met him after the show and gave him a portrait of him I had drawn...which he liked. He signed my Discovery album, shook my hand and gave me a kiss on the cheek. He is a really lovely down to earth guy...no arrogance at all...was a real pleasure to meet him.
For faces and general disposition, I like Bev, too. However, physical appearance is really not relevant to the quality of the music. Not to mention that talent is always attractive.
Happy bjrthday

You're the man! (even if you're a woman)
Jeff Lynn very much in the background, who's on top now?
Paul Vicory It didn't help that Roy Wood was screwed over by his manager so badly it made him want to leave the music business. I listened to a lot of tracks from these two and at their best I would give the edge to Roy, Jeff is excellent as well but he went with a more pop focused records latter on with ELO which isn't my cup of tea (it's a shame because I loved 10538 overture).
Well said!
Totally right!
You missed the "e" at the end of Lynne and the two can't be compared. I like both of them, Jeff had more commercial success later on, Roy did more in the early days and has a lot of hidden gems, that are great when you find them. Neither are on top because they took different paths and music isn't a competition.
Roy and Jeff are both great musicians in their own right. 🥰
This sounds wrong for some reason. I can't put my finger on it.
Kinda dumb the way they did these shows back then. You could see that his guitar isn't plugged in, and you see a mic right up on an electric, like it was recording an acoustic. Why would they do that? Perhaps a joke that band pulled since they knew they had to 'mime' plying.
It's hard to understand now, but back then audio gear was pretty spotty, and TV studios had the spottiest audio gear of all. Better to just mime it back then. Thankfully, things improved.
In one way it is crisper but the compression is unreasonable, sorry. Also could do without the Hollywood intro.
Fault finding. Hooray for you. Not.
The intros amazing
