I just have some questions however: At 0:56, the chord diagram for E7/G# seems wrong, shouldn't it be 4x243x (instead of 4x423x which is D/G#)? It looks like that's what you are playing too. Also at 1:02 for Gsus2/add9 there's a C# which is not in Gmaj so how did you know it's that chord? (Just honestly curious as I'm new to guitar transcription also, and I don't really know what an alternative is. Maybe Dmaj7/G?)

My thumb will not rest on the 8th fret for the second chord. How can you do that?
Place ring finger on the 2nd string, pinky on the 3rd, and index on the 4th. Then follow it up with the middle. I also had the same problem.
