How many Irish samples have been in the black calendar? I counted 4, but let me know if I missed any. I ranked this one second behind Bushmills 12. Day 15, 21, 11, and 2 from best to last. Just the musings of an Irish whiskey Padawan. This one had an expressive nose, nice golden color, and great mouth feel with a smooth finish. It is well balanced with caramel/cream, and ripe candied fruit influences on the palate. It's fine but not a must have. It and Bushmills have me thinking I might have to explore Irish whiskey more. At MSRP $40-60 I think Bushmills 12 is the better value.
Hercules mulligan..i think this is my least favorite.. the ginger smell hits you.. it's not horrible but it hits ya.. the taste is different but not for me. It reminds me of a dessert wine.. too sweet. Not for me... but I'm still finishing the sample... it's not great but I'm not nuts.
If I were to have one gripe is that the videos are very simple on the tastings. Adding a "drop" of water is often done for a second tasting of scotch and I suppose whiskey/whisky in general and the flavor profile can drastically change with the minor aeration caused by the water.
Limavardy: Maybe some lemon citrus in there?

The best that I have sampled in the Advent Calendar! The entire experience was joyful!
I found the Limavardy overall forgettable, not a bad whisky but rather a triumph of mediocrity
Black box. Bananas on the nose. Sweet finish. Tasty Irish whiskey.

We are getting pressed linen on the nose; any others getting this?
Womp womp old RUclips vibes
Limavardy is very smooth 7
Nice Irish whiskey!
The Limavardy is a nice Irish whiskey. The notes are just right.
many of the tastings are greatly improved with the addition of approx. teaspoonful of water.
