Thank you for this tutorial Ms Fox. It's still proving helpful two years later. I got a System 7 Mac virtualized on my PopOS laptop with full networking by following your exact steps. It's only missing proper sound, playing PC speaker beeps instead. Your instructions helped me configure SheepShaver for Mac 9.0.4 as well, which has working sound and allowed me to install vintage PowerPC games such as Interplay's Descent. What a treat!

I appreciate the time and effort you put in your videos, they’re excellent. I’ve been a Mac addict since my parents bought me a pb 145b back in the early 90s. I have a couple of PowerBooks, a PB100, the OG, and a pb 180. The pb 100 needs a new HD, it was working a few years ago, the 180 still runs, a little beat up but it’s still here w me. I also have an SE/30, a G4 , the silver one, a Mac Pro 5,1 that I use for most of my work when home. My m1 is attached to a 27 Thunderbolt Display via an adapter. I enjoy using those old systems. Again, good stuff. Muy bien bien.

Oh wow .. I remember Basilisk II. I'm amazed it's still around. I used to keep a copy on a Zip disk and boot it up in the computer labs at college. At the time, OSX had /just/ come out and OS 7.5 was still somewhat viable. A 50MB virtual hard disk on a zip disk was basically my roaming profile with all my personal settings.
I'd have to imagine that these days, there's no way a campus computer lab PC would allow you to run anything off a portable drive.

About a year ago I bought a 2011 mac mini... I was hoping to use it as an emulator box for sheepshaver and Basilisk. By the time it arrived I'd found out how to get it working on my PC though. I was so excited going through macintosh garden and downloading all my old favourite games from when I was a kid. Back in the day Pathways into darkness and Marathon were my favourites on my Mac IIsi... I ended up getting an FPU card for it but had no idea at the time that it needed drivers to work...
