Thank you, this is really useful. A long time ago, when I owned an Amiga computer, I used Shapeshifter for emulating a 68k Macintosh, but now I would be totally lost without your guide when trying to use the Basilisk II emulator in my Apple Sillicon Mac.
I have played around with preconfigured Basilisk II and Sheepshaver in the distant past. Seeing and doing it from scratch, I finally understand the setup. Just awesome to be able to run Mac OS 8.1 on Apple Silicon. My Powerbook Titanium fan was making so much noise I needed headphones to hear the sound of the game I was trying to play 😅 Only thing I couldn't get to work right away was internet access. Anyway, thanks for the video.
Sometimes you may have issues trying to use an ISO file to boot from in emulators. The way to fix it is to make sure that your iso or dmg file is locked.
@@RichsRandomRetroReviews The GUI on my macbook 2010 running Hight Sierra doesn't work for some reason, even though it says it comes with this version of macOS. GUI finally worked on my Air m1 with sequoia

Great guide Rich - I'd forgotten most of this so it''ll be handy for when I get round to sorting my Classic Mac II/Blue Scsi image.
Really comprehensive! Thanks
Thanks mate.

You might want to check out the emaculation’s website. They might be able to help.
