I agree on this, I feel like the review would be more accurate if the player cared at least to a minimal extent about every part of the game. The story, the music, the combat and the environment. Otherwise the review is not gonna be complete.

The story is too long?! 1.1 main story quest felt short as hell. I've found myself saying "Oh, that was it" when I would finish certain quests. If you don't want a story in your game, or you're just not into the story, just say that.

I agree with first part, but i completely disagree with second. Gacha games don't need your support. They earn 100-1000% profits, and they are very cheap to maintain/develop. In the first place, gachas are F2P because they are sifting people for donators via various psychological/social engineering techs. Gachas are searching for whales to milk them. You don't buy monthly pass in gacha to "support" creators - you buy cuz otherwise you won't get even one legendary character this patch. You don't buy BP to express your love to the game - you buy it cuz devs artificially made a deficit of resources and are cokblocking your progression (without BP your playthrough would be miserable). Gachas arent made to "make games", they are made to get filthy rich. They don't care about players feelings, they only care about player influx being higher than outflux. Gachas should be the last thing you want to support financially.
It is interesting to glimpse into the mind of someone who plays the game strictly for the gameplay, as it highlights that people play games for different reasons. However, if this does become a recurring series, then I would like at some point to see the viewpoint of someone who actually does care about the aspects of WuWa that Charles dismisses, namely music and story. The story in particular was different in the CBT, and I would love to hear someone in the CN side give their thoughts on the changes made to that.

I hate how much credibility is given to ftp players. I work, and if i feel the desire to support a game that's giving me enjoyment, i don't see a problem with that. Just because your ftp doesn't mean you suddenly have a more valid opinion.

I love the story and for me it's not "too long" in terms of the scripts, animations, and cinematics, except for the talking. It bugs me so much that they talk too slow especially the female characters :'> like.. can't they just make them talk more normal? They're like narrating T_T overall I like everything else in the game. It's just the talking pace I hate

i do have a 4070ti..it's no 4090 but it can handle most of my games ultra wide monitor max settings pretty well.
but the thing is...i got work on weekdays so i do game on phone a lot too. also i have phone cooler.
yeah someone that plays genshin on phone...it is harder than genshin continuing comboes.
also play pgr on phone as well...
for the people that don't know, in PGR you can remap the touch screen controls. and sometimes i even play better on touch screen on PC.
but PC 85% of the time plays better than mobile.
first few days i play with in game audio on. but after a week, like every game i just turn off in game audio and watch youtube. i also have many monitor setups just to watch youtube while game.
in PGR there was an event, one of the challenges had a debuff...disabling in game audio and the funny thing is i already had audio turned off xD

i see what he's saying about duration of story, but if it was better, length wouldn't be an issue. i agree with everything else though, and i hope the writing is only lackluster now because they're not strong with exposition.
