Look what FUJIFILM sent me - this is one of the funnest cameras in the world. It's the Instax wide 300 self printing camera. It's wider than the other instax cameras, and has wonderful print quality too.
This is a short unboxing and review video where I show you the features of the camera, and take it out to show you how the images look when they're printed. Кино
This is possibly the most heartwarming video I've seen on ages. Great to see buddy 👍
Wow, thanks 😊
@@ChrisOrange no worries. Brought back all the great memories of learning to use my dad's cameras on holidays as a kid
such a fun video start to finish. wishing you and the family a great year :)
Instant photography is too much fun. I have an old Polaroid 600 I bought for 5€, a Polaroid OneStep+, a Fuji Instax SQ6, a Fuji Instax Wide 300 and a NONS SL42 Mark II (which shoots Instax Mini with Canon EF lenses, which is wild) and oh boy, I'll never get rid of any of them.
I’ve had an Instax For three years now and it’s my favourite, by far
I had never heard of this one. At first it looked like a joke but you know what? I think it's fun and it reminds me of the Polaroid camera my grandma gave me when I was a child which felt at least that big to me back then. I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks for sharing! What a lovely video by the way, you've got wonderful kids. Cheers!
Greetings from Slovakia. Love your video. I am thinking to buy instax and this vid motivate me to do it. I have printer canon selphie too, but instax is something with soul.
I’m a year late 😂…but mine arrived yesterday, I have yet to open the box after work. I’m excited!
Nice video as always, I was thinking of trying an Instax camera for travel and family!
thanks - it's a really fun camera!
Have to say the photographers are great too! The angle and view are gorgeous!
thanks! 😊
Ur wonderful and u have such lovely kids, bless u all 🤍
Thank you so much 😊
Thanks Chris! I used to have this kind if camera but I enjoyed the day out with your family really enjoying the whole experience. Fantastic video as usual and thanks for sharing it!
Glad you enjoyed it - thanks so much!
Hi Chris, nice video as always ! 😊 Thanks for your kindness, your smiles, your good temper, it's really great to see you 🙏
ah thanks! So glad you enjoyed it! 👍😊
I have got to say, that looks like great fun, good to see kids enjoying cameras and photography also
best thing is to scan them later for the long term just as a backup. some fade some don't. Just share the magic of instant prints and enjoy !
Another great video, great family moments. Might be time to grab one of those. We have the smaller version but that larger format looks great, the kids ( and the big kids) will love it.
thanks! The wider version definitely makes a difference - the colours look great, felt a bit like Classic Neg.
are you still enjoying it as much a few years later? looking to get one of these
Great video as always. Your enthusiasm always rubs off on me. Brilliant!
Awesome, thank you!
oh yes this is fantastic. Ive just bought the SQ6 for my adult son. Waiting to see his first shots. this is a great video Chris and family.
thanks! Hope your son enjoys!
i enjoyed using our instax wide camera but was constantly frustrated by the lack of control. these days, it is has been replaced by the combo of the SP-3 instax printer and our fuji cameras that support printing to it. i do wish fuji offered a wide format printer, but the square format has worked well so far.
Yes Fujifilm, please, please, please, make a Instax printer for this format Instax film.
@@HanZuyderwijk they do have a wide printer
@@jasmachugh4222 Not wide enough!
Very nice!👍 Thanks for sharing!😊
Thanks. Looks like lots of fun.
Wonderful reactions from the kids. They might like the Instax Square format too. Smaller but still very pleasing.
thanks - my eldest is thinking of buying that 👍
Takes me straight back to my days as a little whipper snapper in the late 70’s. Might have to pick one of these up for a bit of fun
It was a lot of fun - my eldest is looking into buying one for herself.
@@ChrisOrange Nothing like the thrill of a print developing before your very eyes, oh how I miss my B&W darkroom days of the mid to late 90's Hope your daughter enjoys the magic of instant film
Why are there no medium format cameras with normal lenses working with this Fuji/Polaroid paper???
Wow, this is the first of your video’s I’ve watched and I’ve now subscribed. My girls steal my camera, and have their own “Kids Digitals” and enjoy them, but the “faff” of getting the photos off the camera, on to a screen and never/rarely having a tangible physical photo in their hands I think dulls the experience. Seeing the enthusiasm in your children’s eyes makes me think this might be a good purchase for them (and me obviously!). I hope you are on commission because this video will probably cause an uptick in sales. Subscribed!
P.S. - Does the instax film come in different Fuji formats and if not, which Fuji film type does it most resemble? I am a Classic Chrome obsessive but my wife whites I spoil all family photos with it and just wants everything in Provia.
*These were presents but the UI is so poor, they suck the life out of photography very quickly.
I was thinking about this for landscape and here you are ,affirming the thought.
Now I have bought each camera you have used XE1,XE2,XT3 +XPro1+ XM1 .And one which you missed ..XQ1😁🙌
ah, the X-Q1. I've looked at that a few times, but haven't tried it yet. thanks! 👍
hi , just a question - after how many years will the colours on the photos change ?
That depends on exposure to light, heat, moisture and the stability of the chemicals used. Whilst not the same Polaroids have lasted a few decades.
I assume the chemistry is similar across the Instax line. My daughter has been using the smaller Instax for years and, even exposed to Indonesia's hot, humid climate, the images she pinned to a corkboard over three years ago have retained their colour remarkably well.
Love it
10/10 Chris great video, love to see you and your kids share this experience. The picture quality and simplicity’ really pulls you in to the scene whilst keeping things fun. #Londonlovesyou
Thanks so much!
Haha! Just the thing for a spot of street photography 😁
Fun! I have one of the Instax Minis that allows you to print selected photos so you don't have to commit to every push of the button being printed. Is it a cop out? Perhaps. Not all of my kids are as discriminating photographers as one would wish!
You can use the empty cartridges as picture frames rather than throwing them out as well.
that's a great idea!
When i look at you with your kids.. Its so Fun to Watch.. Thanks Chris..
Thanks for watching!
❤excellent, what a feeling
What fun.
What a Wonderful Video again Mr Chris Orange....Superb...
thank you! 😊
i have a lomo that uses this film.. very deep colors
I have a Polaroid SpectraVision “medium format”
Love the channel, what precious moments you’re sharing, thank you
thank you! 😊
Should be kept in dark until fully developed.
I remember the old Polaroid cameras and how much fun that was to use when I was young. It appears, it hasn’t lost it’s charm now has it. The images were great, and the kids were perfect! So nice to see real emotion and photography through a child’s eye Chris, thank you. I don’t know if the big white camera is in my future but the image quality is amazing. Cheers, Rob.
thanks, so glad you enjoyed it. My kids love being in my videos, so it's lots of fun!
Must dust off my trusty Polaroid 636 and get back out with it!
Holy crap never put “fragile” labels on a box. It looks like the shipper singled this box out for special care and handling.
Cheaper to shoot medium format I bet.
But now I've seen the video.....I want one!
It's cool but it's a bit of a monster! 👍
huge, but fun!
I have 30 year old pictures Polaroid pictures and the colour is now terrible, dark with no saturation. Don’t trust instant film if you want souvenirs.
I think you missed the point of Instant film.
Instax Wide cameras have been out FOREVER. The film is great. The current 300 camera is crap.
Wow... £99 for a camera that was basically the same as the one sold for £22 in 1999, fuji know how to cash in on the retro crap everyone's buying into lol.
Well you seriously wouldn't expect the price to be the same 22years later would you!
