    Look what FUJIFILM sent me - this is one of the funnest cameras in the world. It's the Instax wide 300 self printing camera. It's wider than the other instax cameras, and has wonderful print quality too.
    This is a short unboxing and review video where I show you the features of the camera, and take it out to show you how the images look when they're printed.

    Instant photography is too much fun. I have an old Polaroid 600 I bought for 5€, a Polaroid OneStep+, a Fuji Instax SQ6, a Fuji Instax Wide 300 and a NONS SL42 Mark II (which shoots Instax Mini with Canon EF lenses, which is wild) and oh boy, I'll never get rid of any of them.

    I had never heard of this one. At first it looked like a joke but you know what? I think it's fun and it reminds me of the Polaroid camera my grandma gave me when I was a child which felt at least that big to me back then. I'll definitely give it a try. Thanks for sharing! What a lovely video by the way, you've got wonderful kids. Cheers!

    i enjoyed using our instax wide camera but was constantly frustrated by the lack of control. these days, it is has been replaced by the combo of the SP-3 instax printer and our fuji cameras that support printing to it. i do wish fuji offered a wide format printer, but the square format has worked well so far.

    Why are there no medium format cameras with normal lenses working with this Fuji/Polaroid paper???

  • @nicholasgalpin6711
    @nicholasgalpin6711 2 года назад

    Wow, this is the first of your video’s I’ve watched and I’ve now subscribed. My girls steal my camera, and have their own “Kids Digitals” and enjoy them, but the “faff” of getting the photos off the camera, on to a screen and never/rarely having a tangible physical photo in their hands I think dulls the experience. Seeing the enthusiasm in your children’s eyes makes me think this might be a good purchase for them (and me obviously!). I hope you are on commission because this video will probably cause an uptick in sales. Subscribed!
    P.S. - Does the instax film come in different Fuji formats and if not, which Fuji film type does it most resemble? I am a Classic Chrome obsessive but my wife whites I spoil all family photos with it and just wants everything in Provia.
    *These were presents but the UI is so poor, they suck the life out of photography very quickly.

    hi , just a question - after how many years will the colours on the photos change ?

    • @sexysilversurfer
      @sexysilversurfer 2 года назад +1

      That depends on exposure to light, heat, moisture and the stability of the chemicals used. Whilst not the same Polaroids have lasted a few decades.

    • @brandizenintikaryapt5704
      @brandizenintikaryapt5704 2 года назад +1

      I assume the chemistry is similar across the Instax line. My daughter has been using the smaller Instax for years and, even exposed to Indonesia's hot, humid climate, the images she pinned to a corkboard over three years ago have retained their colour remarkably well.

So nice to see real emotion and photography through a child’s eye Chris, thank you. I don’t know if the big white camera is in my future but the image quality is amazing. Cheers, Rob.
