Brady NEEDS to win MOP this year. It's not just that he makes insane plays like his 33 yard touchdown run vs. the Elks last year. It's the CONSISTENCY with which he operates. The secret is out on the Bombers' plan - ram the ball down opponents' throats as much as they can. Teams know that the Blue & Gold rely on Brady's legs for a good portion of their offense, and they plan around stopping him. And they can't. Week in, week out, regardless of the opponent, Brady gets his yards. He's been limited this year in TDs because Streveler took on the role of punching through the plane within the 5 yard-line when he was healthy, but Brady is leading the league in rushing yards for the 3rd straight year, and could hit 1,500 yards for the second year in a row. In all honesty, he should've won MOP last year (and in hindsight, with the Chad Kelly nonsense, I'm certain the majority of the people who voted for Kelly regretted that decision).
But the point is this - the MOP should go to the player who separates himself from the pack the most, who is the farthest ahead of even #2 and #3-best players at his position (not to mention the league-average guys). Right now, there is no QB who has distinguished themselves this much (this season)....and no LB, no DB, no WR and no DL. There is only Brady. He is exceptional, and despite knowing how good he is, nobody has even come close to stopping him for long. I know the only award HE cares about is the Cup, but he should be a shoe-in for MOP at this point. What does an RB have to do to prove he deserves this award more than an inconsistent QB like Mitchell or Fajardo? Also, I know the award is given out for 1 season's worth of work, but like I said, Brady's been doing this for 3 years now. That should count for something too. A QB can have a good year and win MOP, despite being mediocre the year before or after, and that's fair. Brady is consistently amazing, no matter what happens, year after year, and MOP voters just shrug?

It’s funny how the announcer will say wide open even if the receiver is draped by a defender

The real Bo shows up...lame duck passes (possibly the worst spiral thrower in CFL history)...and let's not forget a couple of interceptions for good measure. The reasons Calgary got rid of him. Yes Calgary needs to throw out the baby and the bath water...wholesale changes required.
