It's been a long time since our theatres have been hit with a decently entertaining disaster film. Focusing more on the heroes that make the threat manageable or having a half-constructed story are typical tropes of most recent disaster films, but not Twisters. Combining sciences, plot, and a believable threat, The Nerds tackle one of this summer's box office thrills. Is it worth the watch? Alongside Comic Strips and some quick thoughts on The Boys season finale, this heavy hitter might just register as an E5 tornado.
