I don’t have particularly strong feelings about the original Beetlejuice since I didn’t watch it till later in life. I’m just hoping I’ll have a good time watching the sequel since I enjoy Tim Burton’s work.

Yeah I would’ve loved to be surprised by the RDJ reveal in the movie itself, though I guess to be fair, in this day and age it’s so difficult to keep secrets like that under wraps. And if they did manage it, that reveal would be all over the internet right when it happened in the first theater showings so the majority of the audience would end up spoiled anyway.

Great issue! All the talk of crying watching movies was very relatable to me haha. People don’t bother pointing out when I cry watching movies or shows anymore because it’s so common. I can be channel surfing and a sad scene from a show I’ve never seen before comes on and I’ll get teary-eyed. 😅

I have been following the D&D 2024 updates WAY too closely lol-I’m just a tad obsessed. TTRPGs keep me sane and I love all the potential for new characters the new rules are going to enable. I’m so freaking excited. Making characters is my favorite part of the game. Right now I’m playing a bubbly aasimar peace domain cleric in a Curse of Strahd campaign (on a temporary hiatus), a Gruul centaur ancestral guardian barbarian in a Ravnica campaign (also on a temporary hiatus), an astral emergent blade dancer bard in an Aetherial Expanse pirate campaign, a half-elf archfey warlock in a fey campaign, and a broody goth teen with psychic powers in a Monster of the Week campaign lol.

Media literacy feels like it’s at a terrifying low. Readers and viewers aren’t getting things like they used to, so they just complain about things being “woke” or whatever. It’s exhausting as both a fan and a creator. 😞
