Welcome to the Elden Wait countdown. In this video I attempt to bully the Tree Sentinel with a newborn samurai character in the Elden Ring base game while I discuss how I'm getting ready for Shadow of the Erdtree.

I dont know if this is mentioned anywhere but the hanging jars in the SOTE trailer can also be seen in the base game intro cutscenes where we see the place where the Tarnished came from.

I'm working through an Express Run with a new character, a spell sword. My first run was mage, so it is new for me to use melee. I'm following Major Slack's Express Easy Run series.

What I did was try to get all items, defeat all bosses, and complete all side quests (using FightinCowboy’s stellar walkthrough series) leading up to Mohg’s Palace. I made it, albeit not at the level 125 that I had hoped. Astel 2.0 was a little too tough for me with my strength build, so I had to go up to 128 to beat her. Interestingly, the three extra points I added in strength in the end added about 500 points of damage to my maxed out Ruins Greatsword (Don’t know why). Still…I’m very curious how my character will fare in the DLC from this point and whether I’ll need to start leveling him up again once I get to the Shadow Realm or just rely on the new “Attack Power” system to get by.

I have 8 builds ready to go. A crucible build,full mage,str-int,dex-int,strength,a lightning build,fire build and a dex arcane dragon build. Im mostly refining my characters and and looking for related lore for dlc

Usually I have a summer count down during the school year because I love watching the days slowly countdown until summer because not only is summer probably the most infamous part of the school year and our childhoods the child like joy of having 2 whole months off from school but I also just absolutely love summer I love the warmer weather I love the sun on my face one of my favorite things to do is go to the beach and lay on the sand and let the sun cook me lmao it’s amazing but not only is all that great but now this year summer 2024 Shadow of the Erdtree is coming out and on the exact first day of summer too is that not just perfect? Rushing home and having all the time in the world to play one of the biggest most hyped DLCs is gaming right now I’m so hyped for it man it’s a count down for the DLC and the school year just gotta get through this school year and Elden Ring is waiting for me at the end

I got a save that is sitting in the wake of the Frenzied Flame. I wanna see if Melina shows up for my head in that one. I got another game where I haven't burnt the Erdtree or fought Malenia or Mohg (picked up the grace before their room but never walked in). I'm currently working on one where I haven't burnt the tree but I plan to beat Malenia, to see if Miquella will react to that.

So on my first playthrough of Elden Ring, the tree sentinel pissed me off so damn much that I refused to progress any further in the game until I killed him.
Out of pure spite, I eventually killed him and went on with my playthrough.
If anyones interested, my class was a wretch at the time.

The only goal I have is to buy the DLC and play the DLC. :P Already have a character still on its first playthrough yet got through much of the late game at the ready.
