Is it just me or has anyone else felt the tide of peace and love wash over them whilst watching Kate and Fleur? I've missed my usual fix of calmness and sheer delight, and I must agree with the lady about Kate's lovely hair. I hope we'll get to see an update on the allotment soon. Sublime.

So glad to see you two! Thank you for sharing your gifts with us. Beautiful little things! Love the sweaters and ear coverings! I think the ear flowers are quite unique! Y’all may have just started a new fashion trend! I don’t like ear muffs or headbands either! They hurt my head!

This is so lovely. Your peg wooden's bonnet is on the wrong way though! It's a poke bonnet, the 'wings' should be at the side of her face. I am very jealous, have always wanted one x

I was on a trip with my best friend a few years ago before she passed. She wanted to take me to where she lived in upper New York state. We went to antique shops, charity stores, auctions, and anywhere else that had all the things we loved. One antique shop had a few new old stock pieces of dollhouse furniture. Yes I bought them. 😁. That same store had tiny German made dolls. Yes I bought them as well. 😊. The owner of the shop told me she got the tiny babies from someone who found them in a dump next to an old doll manufacturer. So if you get to go to Germany be sure to ask around and see if there were any doll manufacturers around and go for a little dig while you are there. I would love to go to Germany just for their toys. I collect Teddy bears as well as the dolls. I know they are very expensive there but it would be a dream trip. I know there would be lots of antique shops there as well and maybe you could find some items for your dollhouses. I wish the antique shops around where I live had more dollhouse items. They are hard for me to find that's why I was so happy when my girlfriend and I would travel to different places. I sure do miss doing those trips. 😢. My Sister would go with me when we would go to visit her daughters and when we had doctor appointments. Unfortunately she has passed as well. Her youngest daughter and I went on a trip but she does not like antique shops. I don't know where she came from because my Mother, my Sister, and myself all love them. 😂

Oh my, I love those illustrations from the children's book. I'm with you on the scary clown thing, I can't bear them; you know the saying "mad as a box of frogs" well you have "as creepy as a tin of clowns". As a mum of a grown daughter I am somewhat envious of your shared interests and relationship, you are peas in a pod. I've managed to produce a daughter who is absolutely everything I am not, not sure how that happened. She looks upon me as some weird quirky curiosity that's occasionally useful for mending clothing or picking up parcels when she's at work. I'm sure she loves me but she has zero interest in anything I do, I'm hoping one day she might find some joy in creating things like I do but for now she's hyper-focused on her career in the big smoke, she didn't do uni (home educated) did an apprenticeship for a big corporate entity, and is now working for an even bigger one, she works very hard, is reaping the rewards and bought a house aged 23, I'm very proud of her but as mystified about her as she is of me, lol. I was never career minded in that way, I pootled along doing interesting but poorly paid jobs, still am, perhaps this is her rebellion against her alternative childhood. 😂
I love your gentle content, I'd love to go mudlarking, I did help dig a bottle dump last year (my first time) for a couple with a patch of woodland that used to be part of a big estate in Sussex. The husband was paralysed and had been for decades, they bought it because it was mostly flat and level and he could spend time out in nature in his wheelchair, they'd put up some temporary structures, camped there and opened it up to special needs children. They wanted help making a wildlife pond and they'd noticed a sunken area that filled during the winter months and then semi dried up had bottles floating to the surface every year, they wanted it cleared to turn it into a wildlife pond. It was filled with bottles and ceramics, little else but many complete ceramic paste jars with lids, many decorated and little glass dishes that had contained sardines. I got bitten well over a 100 times by mozzies and was ill for a week! 🤣😂🤣 It was good fun though. I didn't bring anything home because they wanted to try and sell things to help fund the wildlife pond, my husband was relieved about that! 😆 Anyhoo, happy new year to you and I look forward to seeing what 2025 brings you both.

What a nice surprise to see this video waiting for me when I came home today on this very cold (26 degree) day at the Jersey Shore ! I love watching you two together. Everything about you both is so calming, real and inspirational. I love all the items you got! I am curious - you keep mentioning the "big" doll house. I'm wondering what size it it? Is it a 1:6 scale? I'm struggling right now with trying to sell mine. It is just so large and I acquired an old handmade 1:12 house that needs a complete reno so I need the space. Also would you ever consider giving us a tour of that lovely magical room that you film in?

I don't like clowns either but I think your clowns would make an amazing circus diorama!! Would your children's book pages work as a backdrop if you photo copied them and used some of the animals? They do kind of look like a bunch of circus animals that are on an adventure... I think you'll find that if you wanted to sell the Mickey Mouse or baseball Christmas light shades to someone in the US, you'll make more than your money back and the rest will be yours for free. Really good buy.

I also have a condition that prevents me wearing normal earmuffs. I love those Fleur! You are so lucky to have access to Grodnertal dolls! I have become known as the doll lady here in upstate NY USA and all my MILs' friends are gifting me dolls of all shapes and sizes and of various provenances. One of her friends' last name is Gottschaulk, however the actual German maker is spelled. I understand your bucket list to go to Europe to doll and miniatures fairs and antique shops. I long to go mudlarking with a deep, intense longing that sometimes makes me cry because I don't think I will ever be able to. I love seeing all your treasures. Happy new Year to you both!

OMG, the carrot sweater! ♥️ and the cardigan too. What a lovely combination of colors you’ve assembled as well.
A lovely assemblage of items. ♥️♥️♥️
I agree on clowns… though that was after a clown tried to abduct me when I was a kid.
Clowns are creepy because they’re wearing full masks and body-shape-concealing clothes… you can’t tell anything about who they really are. If they’re a silent clown, you can’t even identify their voice.
In this case, I was on my bicycle, and she followed me in her car for a bit, which I thought was really weird, me motioning for the car to pass. Then she pulled even with me and rolled down the passenger window. The back of the car was completely full of helium balloons, and she said that they were extra after a party, and would I want one. I was alongside a neighbor’s house, but shouted something like, “No, and I’m home!” I turned into the yard, tossed down my bike, and ran for the door. She peeled off at high speed.
I couldn’t identify her in any way, except to say she sounded like a woman… but who knows whether even that was true. And the whole thing scared me so much that I couldn’t remember anything useful about the car, etc.

The ones on their tummies would have had sleds under them as ours had. When I saw them it took me right back to my younger days. You had some lovely presents. I think we were all thrown a bit by Christmas falling in the middle of the week. It seemed a long way off and then suddenly it was upon us. I had some little presents for you two but never got round to sending them so they will have to be After Christmas Presents now. The clown with the ring and whip could’ve had a tiger with it in the toy circus.😀 Loved the presents. Happy New Year to you both and your family.

I just love your channel, and your Christmas gifts especially the knitted items are amazing. Be careful with the celluloid, you probably know but it is highly flammable.
    Sending much love from USA.
