One of the best shows Avon has ever done. Congratulations to the amazing staff, students, and parents of the program. Ranks right up there with 2010 Iconoclash. The color guard is unreal!
Thank you for posting this video. Huge Avon fan since 2006. This year Avon really came out on fire, could see that as early as their Community Day in August. Beautiful show, tons and tons of big musical moments and huge hits! Great, great brass line moving lots of air and color guard spinning and tossing at near DCI levels of performance. Well done!
@@davidwestin6345 at my school the primary purpose of our props is to store color guard equipment (so everytime we need to grab new equipment we dont have to go to a side line) or to hide guard members / give them breaks (usually freshman lmao) during the show
I got rejected by a chick right after this show ended, still a good show though.

Out of all the bands I saw there, this was definitely my favorite. Amazing compared to my bands performance.
What's your band
Love watching the Avon shows going years back and seeing the excitement of the director at the sideline during the big hits!

Avon probably has the best music quality out of any of the really big bands, and its always fun competing against their percussion during IPA events.
Hebron? Unless you’re talking about Indiana only.
@@uvn6210 yeah, indiana
@Samuel Nelson I'm with munster
@Samuel Nelson I've been in pitfor two years, drumline for 2020, and I've been in winter percussion for 2 years
@Samuel Nelson and yup, there's a chance we might have met
Wow, when the color guard nails their rifle throws in sync with the drumlins at the 8:19 mark. So good!
That soloist is too good 😧
I love Matt Harlof taking his 2017 DCI show music and putting it into this years show

THIS SHOW IS SO FREAKIN SICK!!!
-euph dude from bixby, ok
This was a great performance... but the brass only really played when they were in a hold set.
WHY DO ALL THE OFFICIAL AUDIOS OF THIS SHOW KEEP GETTING DELETED
green day
Are there any bands left where they don't have to design drill so that the marchers don't have to dodge all the junk on the field?
Robert Ridley Ronald Reagan and Stevens are a few from my area :)
Not since you got bonus points for the junk :(
ikr! my band doesnt have stupid props but a bunch do and idk what to think about it

Have a band member do the narration, then we’ll talk
the narration is done live.
@@CBond317 really? usually those kinds of things are prerecorded so if thats true then that makes me hate narration a little less.
@@davidwestin6345 a few things such as the echo in the beginning are pre-recorded, but everything else was done live by a member of the guard.
