- One of the nicest rooms on Royal Caribbean's Freedom of the Seas is the Grand Suite! This is the first level to Concierge Class giving you access to many additional amenities exclusive only to Concierge Class rooms.
This video is the full Room Tour of Grand Suite 1574 on the 10th deck, midship. We will also evaluate if this room is a good fit for your quick weekend cruise to the Bahamas.

BRANDON! HI! We were the couple from Kentucky who spent time chatting with you at the very quiet pool-side bar during the soft opening of Baha Mar several years ago. We so enjoyed your company... and the drinks. And the quiet beach before the "official" opening. lol If I recall, we were some of the only tourist there. It was such a neat experience. It's good to see you doing so well on here! We're headed to the Freedom of the Seas next, I believe. Hope we bump into you again some day!

Reminds me allot of the Grand Suite we had on Mariner! We did really enjoy it!!
They are definitely nice! Still a Junior Suite guy if just me but if with family, grand suite all the way!
Since you asked:
We had a GS for a week on Allure of the Seas in September. The concierge sent an email a week prior and included a calendar with all the shows, and booked what we wanted. Really appreciated that, since everyone else had to wait til on the ship. We also got into the theater 1st.They book specialty restaurants, but we went to the private dining room every night (food fabulous) and enjoyed the lounge with a glass of “free” wine…or maybe 2, plus appetizers were available.
The cabin was very comfortable and we were sent fruit or treats each afternoon.
There is a darkening curtain that divides the LR from the bed, so if one of us stayed up late it made it very comfortable. The balcony was wonderful with cushioned chairs/loungers, however there is only 1 small light and it was very dark. Thank goodness I had a few battery operated tea lights which were perfect. And yes that tub was very high and I’m very short!
RC sold this cabin for only $200 more than a JR suite for BOTH of us and there was a special offer to get double points for any sailing at the time. We got quadruple points because of booking a suite. We only needed 2 points to jump up to diamond Super!! This will get us to diamond + quickly. At the time, it wasn’t busy with only 2300 guests and some things weren’t offered. We usually run all over doing as much as we can. This was quite relaxing and taught me to slow down for the next cruise.
We are booked on Wonder of the Seas March 11th. No suite…way too expensive! But looking forward to a new ship.

@@joycehardy9422 the wifi is only for one person in the suite or for the entire family staying in the suite? I’m a family of 4 that’s why I’m asking
@@alessandraperez4397 the Wi-Fi is for one device. We shared it by signing off so the other can sign on. We didn’t use it much, we were too busy

As for the pricing, it was a free upgrade for me. But you can sometimes Royal Up for less than original booking price.

Ok, Silver Fox. New sub. Are Junior suites included to use of suite lounge?
hahaha is silver fox an emoticon I can start using? Junior Suite is a weird suite. The only suite perk it gets is an extra point per night of sailing. You will need a Grand Suite or higher for suite lounge privileges.

Wifi is not included in the grand Suite on Freedom. However, all room service is and includes being able to order from the main dinning room which is my favorite perk to eat on the balcony
If we are getting the owners suite, should we still buy a soda package?
Depends on the ship! If you are on one of the bigger ones, it will come with some drinks as part of the "Star" or "Sky" privileges. However, on Freedom, it does not come with any drinks. Maybe a welcome bottle but that will be it.
If we have friends traveling with us but not in the suite can they be able to sit for shows with us in the special seating area?
They are not supposed to.... It all depends on who is verifying credientials.
