@@Alex_Mewtwo i do think molyfx looks better but for example in that same golden block dirt place you can seenthat dirt blocks has visible ambient oclusion and it is not realistic where as in seus ptgi its blending in i would prefer using molyfx but seus is more realistic (realistic isnt always better) but yeah the golden block looks worse on seus
I like the appollo, zeus is too dark, the molly has a few lighting issues and, while the day and night is brightest, light giving objects are really dark. plus i really like the colour variety in the appollo

I'm not gonna lie I personally prefer the way Molly looks when it comes to lightning, but the lava and water is awful. However Apollo did water and lava pretty great. When it comes to fluids, Apollo easily wins, and when it comes to lightning Molly wins.
i get ~32fps and ~92-100% GPU Load with SEUS PTGI 2.1 (the latest as far as i know) depending on what im looking at (also at 16 render distance) but if you have motion blur on then that swiftly blends the frames so that its not noticeable whatsoever, i havent tried the other 2 but im gonna run some framerate tests later since i got some new RAM it should also be said that im using optifine not rubidium/sodium etc basically im using forge which in my experience has shorter load times with rubidium than fabric with sodium specs CPU: AMD Ryzen 9 5900x GPU: RTX 3060 12gb RAM: previously 2x8GB 3600mhz DDR4 Corsair Vengence LPX but now 2x16GB 4000mhz DDR4 Patriot Viper Elite II im not sure what my M.2 drive specs are but its a WD_BLACK, i want to say its one of the medium-high speed ones 1kW PSU Corsair 1000x none of my stuff is overclocked
3:11 is a perfect examble of realistic lighting. Irl, when moon light shines in through something like that, it will bounce around and light up the room a bit, not leave everything in complete darkness
I like the appollo, much brighter than seus, but still sensible. and with light emmitting blocks, its the best, even molly (surprisingly) lacks brightness with some blocks. i think the reason molly is brightest is because is bounces, but a light source doesn't have as much area. so I light source lights up a whole room really well, but it can't light up an open field as much. and night is too bright also and seus is way too dark. I've always hated it for that
SEUS is more living up to the original form, trying to make it sorta realistic but not too much. Same with APOLLO, but more vibrant and in the middle. MollyVX is just full on "yeah im gonna set you aside right here minecraft"

SEUES PTGI was the best for a while IMO, but MollyVX looks really good and seems to stick closer to vanilla Minecraft, while taking advantage of ray tracing. I liked Apollo the least overall, but I think it did the best in the test at 2:01.

It's really hard to gauge which could be considered best or worse... tbh they're all quite good and they all specialise in different areas. I think (and only think) the best way to describe each one is: PTGI is the most realistic (More realistic shadowing to what is around it) Apollo is the most cinematic (Realistic but with smoother colouring, better colour blending) Molly is the most exaggerated (Adding light bounces where they shouldn't go, or being better able to capture more light bounces to light up low light areas better. In fact, if I was to guess I'd say Molly is SSGI instead of just GI)
No. Just no. You have bad taste of it. PTGI - the worst one, old for ~2022-23. Zero reflections, sun on water? What is this? Its not bad but its 6\10 Apollo looks like it is brighter, newer version of previous shader, looks like moded PTGI with better looking of everything but that over-glowing everywhere was small mistake. 7\10 And Molly, more better in everything, better reflections, shade and lights, and etc. Most detailed than other 2 shaders. Still not perfect but best we have here. 9\10
The only cons of Seus for me are the Nether Portal, the Sea Lantern in the pool, the lack of light from the soul torch (but this will clearly be corrected), and also the fact that the lantern glows completely, and not as in MollyVX
people should look at the details like shadows, GI and etc and not dwell on "Too dark". "Too vibrant". "Too bright". all these are post processing stuff that can be changed in shader settings. u can make the brightness and stuff almost same to same if you fiddle with the PP settings.
I like MollyVX, problem with these other ray tracing shaders are the emissive textures, never seem to get the brightness of an source of light down they are either way too bright like the bloom was cranked up to 200% or so dark that you can barely see 4 blocks away.
none of those are raytracing, and sues is using path tracing, for the last time THEY ARENT THE SAME THING but this is really coll and deserves a like..
You guys need to learn how to demonstrate shader features. What i mean is: Ptgi does not for example modify lighting color if block light passes through colored glass. Some other shaders do. It does fir sunlight but not with other types of light. The demonstration of such effects can help choose the most capable shader. Its nit always about the looks, but also about what the shader can do. .

SEUS - our standard seus. Nothing to say. Apollo RT - cool water and mirror effects without ruining Minecraft's atmosphere, but with really bad light control (too bright). MollyVX - the best light control, but too dark. I prefer Apollo RT, but in some kind of situation MollyVX will be better.
Apollo RT would look really good, except unfortunately everything seems to cause too much light. A little lantern like that shouldn't be nearly-blinding, and all those magma blocks look overly-saturated from the amount of light they emit.
whats crazy is that i turned all the stuff off and was getting 30 to 40 fps. and i turn everything on and i get 50 to 60 fps. i have a rtx 2070. this is sad
Seus - Looks like there's no ray-tracing or anything close to it (0:47) or if it's more visible in a certain situation, it's still very hard to notice, overall looks good Apollo - Light too strong and too vibrant, very exagerated (1:54), overall looks decent MollyVX - Very nice lightning + ray-tracing (0:47, 1:09), very realistic, not very vibrant but could be better if it was just a little bit more vibrant, the game seems to be much cleaner with mollyVX than Seus Seus nr. 1 - Ray-tracing could be better/enhanced MollyVX nr. 2 - Almost as good as Seus Apollo nr. 3 - Terrible lightning(too strong and vibrant)
All three are hectically impressive. But MollyVX has the most realistic colors and brightness by default. But it's lava is worse that other's. Also - where is ContinuumRT?

Mollyvx seems to adhere to the already existing Minecraft look and lighting, while still making the game look less flat and bland and probably the most realistic looking. Seus sort has that middle ground between more vibrancy and Minecraft/realism look. Apollo rt is kinda of saturation vomit but has the best lava and texture. I won't forgive mollyvx for that lava. Overall sort of a mixed bag though.
@@_kurjala you can tune the settings to make it look less foggy, also you might need to switch from the legacy to the labptgi somewhere in the settings
Idk about the other ones but the seus shader is technicaly path tracing wich isnt that far of so i dont have a problem with your title. What i dont like is when people try to sell Java shaders as "RTX" because rtx is waaay more than a simple shader
Not sure if it is a option cause i never really used it , but if u go to shader settings, bottom right there should be shader options. look around if u can change that

Overall SEUS PTGI has almost everything covered and makes it look natural, but MollyVX is looking really good

Probably has to do with some sort of cpu utilization. When the settings are higher, the gpu does more work than the cpu, that’s what I imagine
