thats a great idea, maybe not house for all your life but like renting wagon or something like hotel for weeks or months would be so cool, if only therwe would be rail all around world like going from africa to europe to asia then corssing to north america then south america and back that would be journey of a life

I've also been in Switzerland just over 4 years and almost never get on the trains. I did take the old-fashioned open-air Rorschch-Heiden Bergbahn a couple of times and it was wonderful. It's close to where I live.

Not only is the scenery nice to look at, but all the homes and villages all look well cared for, in a country that considers aesthetics too. While a view from a U.S. train in most towns and cities is the ass back end and rundown disused parts. That showcase how much poverty and income inequality there really is in the U.S. The Swiss should be proud of their small country. I enjoy it every chance I get to visit my brother who has now lived in Switzerland 20+ years and has no plans of ever coming back to live in the U.S. His wife from Japan also has no interest in living in the U.S., she feels its an unsafe country. She feels safe and secure in Switzerland, like she does in her native Japan. I don't blame her, both my cars have been broken into and vandalized on more than one occasion, and I live in a decent part of town. I'm just grateful they haven't broken into my apartment *yet* but I'm waiting for the day I find everything missing.
