I LOVE THE MAVERICKS!!! And Raul Malo has the voice of a Cubano angel! This is the product of 90s country music, Cuban music, South Florida atmosphere. There is no other sound like it, please please react to more Mavericks!

More Mavericks please. All Night Long, I Should Have Been True, and Here Comes the Rain are a few of their many hits. There’s no other band that blends Country and Cuban rhythms as good at they do and Raul Malo’s vocals are top notch. He’s a true crooner!

Niiice!! I've always loved The Mavericks (decades now - gawd I feel old!).... and I just adore Raul's voice (and his gorgeous smile). So, so many favourite songs....What a Crying Shame, Here Comes My Baby, The Only Problem Is, O What a Thrill, etc, etc.

This is the band you want at your party. If you like this, you'll love Dan Hartman - "Second Nature" from the 80's. Infectious dance rhythm.

Thanks for doing this song India. Of course it's much more exciting watching and listening them doing it in concert. I can understand it if someone watching this would be unimpressed, but the group is remarkable and they have quite the catalog.

This style of country music, is called Tejano music or Tex-Mex music. Made popular, by artists, like Doug Sahm, and Freddie Fender, in the 60's, and early 70's.

It's all about that Southern California Bakersfeild sound made famous by Buck Owens and later tried to reinvigorate by Dwight Yoakum and the Mavericks. The Mavericks "Oh What a Thrill" is one of my favorites.

Love the Mavericks! Raul, the lead singer, once said the secret to their success was "Tell 'em you're Country then play whatever you want!" He was right! I don't know why they picked a grocery store for the video but my guess is that it was different than conventional Country music settings, and it was cheap!

They got back together and are touring. BEST live band ever. Their songs should only be reacted to live. I don’t know why they bothered making videos. You can’t help leaving a show of theirs without a smile from ear to ear and your feet tired from dancing.

This is so NOT a great Mavericks song! It was an album of polished commercial stuff to make videos for to get on TNN (the Nashville Network - think MTV for country,) and CMT (Country Music Television,) and it does NOT showcase what Raul Malo can do. It was on album that most people can agree was not their shining moment. I’d give a song called “So Beautiful” by Raul Malo a chance.
