More Mavericks please. All Night Long, I Should Have Been True, and Here Comes the Rain are a few of their many hits. There’s no other band that blends Country and Cuban rhythms as good at they do and Raul Malo’s vocals are top notch. He’s a true crooner!

I love the Mavericks. Before I fell in love with HomeFree these guys had all my attention. They have some great songs from the 1990s. They still are touring and performing. Nashville didn't give them a fair chance after only a few years of performing. My brother and I thought that they had a Roy Orbison sound when they first came out. Some other great songs are Oh What a Crying Shame , I Should have been True and Oh What a thrill. Please react to more of ther songs. I've not been able to get only one other reactor to give them a listen. They are fantastic. 🥰❤ thanks!

You need to check out the performance of this song at Royal Albert Hall. That gives you an indication of what going to one of their live shows is like still 30 years later. Just went last night and the whole building was dancing in the aisles. You won’t have a more joyful experience than seeing them live.

This was a huge hit for the Mavericks in the U.K., and this song was featured on their album "Trampoline" which really pushed the boundaries of country music. Their early albums from the early 1990s are well worth checking out for fans of traditional and more contemporary country music at that time, particularly "What a Crying Shame." They continue releasing nice albums and are constantly touring.

Was not a fan of them back then. But after all these years, I change my mind. The creativity, the voice and the legacy.. All those things make me love them today 👌 Just thinking of my parents dancing to the Mavericks songs when I was young, it's priceless memories

"Pretend" by The Maverick 💗💗💗. Reminiscent of 50's & 60's classic country rockabilly. Raul Malo's perfectly smooth voice is top notch!!!💗💗💗💗

I saw the Mavericks in an outdoor concert at Champoeg Park, with my sister, about 20 years ago. It was August, which is the one month you can usually count on warm, dry weather in Oregon, but that day was gray, chilly and rainy! But the music is so upbeat it made it feel like a nice day.

"All That Heaven Will Allow" & "Oh, What a Crying Shame". Perfection! Now I have to look those songs up, lean back in my chair, close my eyes and listen to that VOICE! 💗💗💗

Thank you so much for reacting to the Mavericks.
They are absolutely one of my favorite groups!
I could give you quite the list of my favorites by them.
    Here's a few to start:
    Back in Your Arms Again
Tonight the Bottle Let Me Down
    There Goes My Heart
    There's so many more!
The lead singer Raul Malo sings a duet with Trisha Yearwood(Garth Brooks wife) called Something Stupid and a great rendition of Blue Bayou.
Please check those out, I promise you won't be sorry you did.

The Mavericks are my favorite band, and Raul has one of the most beautiful voices of all time. You really need to watch a video of them performing live on stage. I don't think any band has more fun. Two of my favorites are "All You Ever Do is Bring Me Down" and "Back in Your Arms Again." For awhile, Raul had a solo career, and there is a great video of him singing "O Sole Mio" in Italian.

This band is known to use country, tex-mex, Latin, and rockabilly influence in their songs.
The video I've never seen! It's very eclectic.😅
    Other songs are:
    I Should Have Been True
    What A Crying Shame
All That Heaven Will Allow (a Bruce Springsteen cover)
    Something Stupid (featuring Trisha Yearwood)
