I know people always want more, but no HLS for streaming to RUclips? The other improvement would be modernising the audio meters. For broadcast, they need to be segmented, weighted and have peak indication, as in their current form they are only an approximation and far too quick to be useful.

The VU meters are indeed outdated. I still use the much better-looking Darkwood Designs VU meters on top of the Vmix VU meters.

for broadcast you need to hire an actual sound engineer and an actual audio console, not expect vMix to do it for you.
I can't tell you how many broadcast companies I worked with last year who had minimum cheap audio equipment or none at all. Everytime the broadcast sounded like shit because they knew nothing and requested basically a mono feed into their 2 channel behringer interface with preamps that destroy the sound.
And because the engineer is busy mixing the actual show he doesn't have time also live mix the stream feed, so all they get is a flat post-fader mix of what goes out to the room - not ideal.
If you want to do it properly get a console and engineer dedicated for the stream and run a split rack system or use dante.
At the very least if you don't want a console, use dante virtual soundcard and get a decent midi controller with faders to run into the vmix machine.
This way you can request a full 1 to 1 patch over dante from the main sound engineer of the event and then mix it yourself with the midi controller.
