Trailmater Gets Another Engine

  • After swapping the engine in Trailmater last year we've been having issues with it burning oil, possible head gasket issue and killing plugs pretty regular. So we finally decided to address it and put a newer engine in it. This is us swapping in a low mileage RV motor to hopefully fix our problems. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us.

They arnt hard if you do it enough. I pulled my old 390 a dozen times. But don't ask me to pull a 4.6 in less than a weekend. I just haven't done it enough.

Many years ago, before we tuned an engine, we did a crank test. The sound of the starter motor can let you know if you have one cylinder with low compression. It sounded like this engine had a low cylinder at start up. (We would not have offered any warranty if a customer engine cranked like that back then.) Maybe the rings just need a few miles on them to break fee and settle in. Back in the day we were more concerned with valve problems.

Really there not that bad. I used to pull engine out of forklifts all the time the first one or two where hard after the 4 one it was easy. About 6 hours to pull the engine out and 10hour to put it back in by myself.

Big D pulling engines and whatever they need done and she's ready! Good video!
