That’s part of life, letting go old loves…and moving forwards to new chapters of life… we saw bikes riding out of our life’s and we are still riding…. So long ST welcome new girl!
If your coming thru western south central Mn. Hwy 212 In the country 5 acres rest relax refuel stay. Enjoy the new ride, gotta feeling many headaches are over with the new ride,
Joe, I didn't wait till the end, I went back twice until I saw the O-Ring fall.. Instead of pellets, you should've used some chain. Old trick I used back in the late 60's...
I was going to comment on what he said, but you said it so well, I'll just dog-pile in on what you said, Joe. Yes, the minority of the country gets the majority of the coverage on TV, due to the media's bias. We indeed have a lot to be grateful for, including the ungrateful 1 percenters who hate our country.
I'm very Patriotic, I love my country with all we have going on its still the best place in the world .. Glad you got you a new bike&congrats to the new owner of the st-1300.ive been riding over 30years last 2years no motorcycle I'm trying to get me another bike but this time I plan on living a life long dream Of living from my motorcycle travel America make videos of where I go people I meet motorcycle maintenance camping etc... I can't wait for the journey to begin. I hope you're liking your new bike be safe traveling&keep the shiny side up
Love your patriotic comments. So appropriate. Also appreciate your good use of the language with no swear words in your commentary. I am thinking about getting the 700 that you have just purchased. Need more comments about how you like it.
Love the channel. Ya I was hit head on wile on a trip from sc to the up of mi and on the way back in the state of mi a lady ran a stop sign and took me out. I was revived with the paddles that day. I bought a new bike soon as possible and as of now own two HD's a 85 fxr and an ultra. I too would not know what to do with out being on two. Its just the freedom it puts a smile on my face weather its going thru Ohio and having a heard of deer crossing I75 in front of you in early morning hours or a hawk sailing along with you in South Carolina or the view of lake supierior. Or pigeon river in Tennessee and man just like when you take a stop and people gravitate to you asking where you've been or what ya doing and they look at you like wow why don't I do something like that. Ya my first bike was a triumph Bonneville hard tail chopper when I was 16. I had no mc license no anything but a desire to just load up my tent and sleeping bag etc...and head up into the mountains on a Friday night after hanging with friend and sometime not roll back until I hit the parking lot at work mo day morning after riding all night to get there. Yup love the freedom of the road and the great people along the way.
Good one Joe, I see you're about to crack 3k subs. Well done mate, that first 1k was a hard slog but now you're on your way. Enjoy Sturgis when you get there.
Joe. I would like to see a video by you giving us tips on what type of tent works best for you… what type of tent you choose and why. Do you buy expensive tents expecting them to last longer? Because they keep all the insects in the rain? Are there features in tents that you don’t like like bad zippers, or noisy crinkly floors? i’m sure a lot of people would like to hear from someone that has a lot of experience with tents
It may be a mild summer up there in VA but down here in the south it's been a unusual HOT summer... We don't normally get the temperatures we have been having till late late jul-thru aug...glad the new bike is doing well. Was hoping to come up to Sturgis this year for the first time but doesn't look like that is going to happen. Hopefully next year!
Hated the ST gave you so many problems. Was gonna sell mine when I bought my Harley but glad I didn't. I enjoy riding it more now than before. I use it to commute to work 108mi / day. Runs like a top.
While I'm not gonna say what it looked like you were doing to that upper tank I just hope one of you enjoyed it. Oh, and at time 9:06- get yer camera out of there! Not enough room for that in those pants... though I think we all enjoyed the view.
In my experience they always pop. I’ve tried the fancy expensive ones and the cheap crappy ones. They always pop after daily use. The foam pad is a little uncomfortable. I’m going to try yet another cheap air pad in conjunction with the foam pad, hopefully it’ll work. Let me know if you find anything better
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond OK. Thanks. I was just in your neck of the woods. I was at willville campground a few weeks ago. Im kinda new to the motorcycle camping. i would say the foam pad is probably the best for daily use.

Joe, 68 miles per gallon you gotta love that. That's more than I thought you would get.
First checked it I was getting 52. Like wtf? Then discovered the tires were at 20psi…
Love the episode
Glad you enjoyed it 😎
Thanks for sharing. May God bless Ameirca.

Thank you for your thoughts on our freedoms in this country, I agree completely. I'm so glad all is working out for you. Stay safe bro.

Thanks for watching! I doubt these bikes are going to impress anybody at being great at any one thing; what they are is really good at a lot.
Great video safe travels brother

Thanks man!
Well hopefully the new owner checks out all the old videos.Pretty lucky to have video of all the maintenance done the last year and a half
👍
Small town USA, Nothing better.
Good job Joe,at least you got some exercise shaking that fuel tank with the ball bearings😆
the new bike looks like a winner got a feeling it will be as reliable as can be
That was a cool bike, the ST1300. Hope the new one treats you better.
Thanks!
Great vid Joe. Thanks for the the scenery, band, markets. Njoy the new bike, lots of smiles per gallon there, is she comfy?
All around, the comfort is not bad. That's why I like it
Scotty sent me over, good stuff bro!
Thanks man!
5:44 and the ring just drops out. Wow, that was tiring just watching it. But at least you passed the bike on without the problem...good man.
If your near Lexington let me know
How many miles you put on the ST ?
Around 25k. Not bad considering I was broken down half the time
Great video! I hope your mechanic skills get a well deserved rest with the new machine. Great tribute to the ST
Me too lol. Thanks!
1 inch sheet rock screws and acetone. Scrubs it clean and shiny. Screws are easy to shake out, get the last few stragglers with a magnet.
Heh, I saw the o ring fall into the vinegar the first time through. Good thing the camera was rolling!
✌🏻

Good suggestion, I'll see what I can do when I get back to the US 👍
Let me know if you come through Iowa. I’ll buy you lunch or supper.
Thanks man
Miss that whine💁♂️👦🏻👍
Hope to meet you in Sturgis. Me and a friend are heading out that way from VA. on the 31st
🤘

Y’all come by!
I'm liking the new ride hope it treats you better

Joe, use Amsoil or Pennsoil synthetic. 100 to 150 K easy. Good luck
As soon as I seen the o-ring fall, I found myself telling my screen "woh, woh, woh you just dropped an o-ring". Good video, keep it up.
🤘😎🤘
If you need place to crash for a couple days I’m in central MN 520 miles east of the Holy Land.
Hated the ST gave you so many problems. Was gonna sell mine when I bought my Harley but glad I didn't. I enjoy riding it more now than before. I use it to commute to work 108mi / day. Runs like a top.
I miss a lot about it man. They were great bikes
Jo how many miles did you have on the ST
She had 55k on the clock, about 26 of that was me. Would’ve rode it more if wasn’t broken down half the time 😂
How much you sell it for?
Wow 68 miles to the gallon that’s pretty impressive how big is the gas tank, and the bite doesn’t look as bad
Hey Joey which bike is that again, I want to look it up, 68 miles a gallon is pretty darn good
So what is the new bike?
Honda NC750x
The o ring fell off when you drained the vinegar into the tub. 15:20
That o ring fell in the container of white vinegar you dumped out.its in there
While I'm not gonna say what it looked like you were doing to that upper tank I just hope one of you enjoyed it. Oh, and at time 9:06- get yer camera out of there! Not enough room for that in those pants... though I think we all enjoyed the view.
eye saluted!
🤘😎
Would’ve been a shame not to show those pants after time she spent putting em on
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond
eye concurrrrr
If you ever need to do this again, use 1" long dry wall screws. They're magnetic. Easy to retrieve.
Good tip 👍
That's a great tip Thomas, thank you.
Where do you find your foam sleeping pads to buy? been trying to figure what you and scooter tramp use and where to get it. Love your vids by the way.
Man, I found that online somewhere. Closed Cell foam sleeping pad I think it’s called
@@dirtymotorcyclevagabond Ok. thanks for the reply. im using air mattress now. but dont want to for long term. I need to find something better.

That seems to be the case, but I’ve talked to a couple people who are using the Exped mattress and love it. It’s a little pricey though
How much for the pump over there?
Pretty expensive for the OEM version. I found a deal and got a new one for between 500-600 US
O-ring fall in the bucket while you shake out the vinagar
Next time use steel shot you can get the shot out using a magnet
